Good ambience and food

Good Chinese food of fusion variety. Nice ambiance, courteous waiters. Place is spacious but gets very crowded as it is quite popular. Menu has very good variety. Quantity is somewhat less. Overall it is decent mid-range food restaurant.

Orient Express is place to have a beautiful meal, with service which is par excellence. Perfect and beautiful ambience. Expensive, but definitely worth it. Outstanding food, with 3 - course and 4 - course meal options. The beautiful train carriage transports you to a different era and is the heart and soul of the restaurant. An experience worth remembering and... More

Located in the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi it is one of the finest restaurants in town. Designed like a rail coach of the famous Orient express, it serves continental and French cuisine. I had a rack of New Zealand lamb which was excellent.. The price is high but worth the experience

The Orient Express (the legendary train, that is) is a byword in timeless mode of travel. Recreated as a restaurant, a replica carriage sits in a cozy niche in Taj Palace Hotel, Delhi, emulating its French connection through haute cuisine. As far as it is practical and realistic, the mock structure is closely modelled on the real McCoy. The 'compartmentalised'... More

The Orient Express opens only for the Lunch and Dinner. It has a lovely decor. The restaurant has been built in an European train type decor. The food is very exclusive and only European food is served. The ambience is great. It is worth visiting the restaurant for a great experience.

Beyond words.. Their pre-meal complimentary offering does the trick. The bubbly and pate combined with live music makes it worth a visit.. And do not call it an evening unless you've entertained your taste buds with the exotic soufflé.

It is located at prime property in a posh vicinity of New Delhi. It is an expensive place to eat ,provides ample choice of continental dishes. Ambience is average whereas other restaurants at Taj Palace are better ones to have meals or snacks.

This is the perfect place to have a quiet dinner and rekindle the flames of romance. Absolutely brilliant yet non intrusive service- paired with good wine reccos....some of the best French food and wait staff that knows how to give you your space yet magically appears when you need them. Try and sit inside the train, where the lovely piano... More
