Description: In a small crescent of New Delhi, packed between houses of under secy's lies a stretch of land famous for its Butter Chicken and Brain Curry - for people acquainted with New Delhi, this is almost synonymous to The Pindi Restaurant. The Pindi charm has not diminished over the years. Defying traditional business calculations, which put the lifespan of a restaurant at 5 to 10 years, Pindi, which serves hearty Punjabi cuisine, has been around since 1952. Shri K L Wadhwa, its founder had a vision for Pindi which has been carried out successfully through generations. With delicacies like Butter Chicken, Dal Peshawari & Kashmiri Kebabs and specialty dishes like Brain Curry, Keema Kaleji and Mutton Burra Kebab, Pindi is really about GOOD, FINGER LICKING FOOD!

8 members of our family visted the restaurant yesterday. We ordered veg food only - both the starters and main course items were very tasty. Service was very prompt. Staff very courteous. Prices were slightly on the higher side but being located in Pandara Road and frequented by tourists could be reasons for higher prices both in Pindi's and Gulati.... More

We visited this restaurant as part of a day tour. It was a safe choice - it caters largely to tourists - and we didn't know any where else to go ourselves. Service was quick and efficient, but impersonal. Expensive by Indian standards. Place was busy when we visited, and we had to share a table with some other visitors... More

Was out here for a quick dinner, as we could not find a place at Gulati and the team did not disappoint us on the food. The décor is average, but do not go on their décor, the food was very good. My friends and I enjoyed the every bite, and their breads are great.

Good Indian food , butter chicken is extraordinary! Traditional food in a cosy atmosphere. The only issue is hygene. It was lunch time when we were there and very crowded. However service was quick enough we didnot wait for long..

Whilst in India I was on a solo tour booked through Amin Tours. I asked the driver to take me somewhere nice for lunch & he took me to Pindi's in Pnadara road. It was stifling hot & going inside into the cool was a delight. The restaurant was fairly large, clean & very comfortable. I ordered the butter Chicken... More

I have eaten several times at Pindi and every time I had a good meal. The servings are large, the service good, and the restaurant is clean. There's really no negatives except the restaurant is always crowded; they receive many tour buses throughout the day.

Brought here by our driver. The butter chicken is indeed excellent, as a write-up claims (from 1982). Excellent food, and less expensive than some other restaurants we visited in Delhi.
