Description: In a small crescent of New Delhi, packed between houses of under secy's lies a stretch of land famous for its Butter Chicken and Brain Curry - for people acquainted with New Delhi, this is almost synonymous to The Pindi Restaurant. The Pindi charm has not diminished over the years. Defying traditional business calculations, which put the lifespan of a restaurant at 5 to 10 years, Pindi, which serves hearty Punjabi cuisine, has been around since 1952. Shri K L Wadhwa, its founder had a vision for Pindi which has been carried out successfully through generations. With delicacies like Butter Chicken, Dal Peshawari & Kashmiri Kebabs and specialty dishes like Brain Curry, Keema Kaleji and Mutton Burra Kebab, Pindi is really about GOOD, FINGER LICKING FOOD!

Went in for dinners . The restaurant was busy with tourists and locals The waiter was very helpful as this was our first "night out" in India and we didn't know what to order. As per our request, all dished were typical Indian but not spacy at all.

The traditional Butter Chicken at Pindi's and their assorted breads that come along are something that cant be described in words. For starters you must go for the Kashmiri Chicken Kebabs- really amazing stuff. The hospitality is amazing and really worth a visit, specially if one is looking for a real late night dinner.

Our tour guide recommended this, we said we would like authentic Indian & not tourist. We were the only non Indians in the restaurant and found the food to be tasty and service good. It was more expensive than we anticipated at 1800r for chicken tikka, veggie korma , rice & nan, but overall we enjoyed the meal.

Tour guide suggested Pindi. However rates were very high. We were a group of 10 Adults and 7 kids & bill received was for 7.2k. Way too expensive for what they served. Don't go there.

Good taste, portion size is good but over priced. Punjabi food, like chana and paneer, is better then other choices. Ambience is good and service is very fast.

The place is good but long lines for booking a table. Better book in advance and do adhere to the time allotted or your seat would be allotted to the walk-in customers. Food is good, nice place for a family outing. Parking place is pathetic.

Very complete menu with a Chinese touch. The service was very efficient and the food delicious. Busy place and a lineup when we left. Would highly recommend this place. Bathrooms clean. Just near the India Gate

For lunch, I asked our New Delhi tour guide to take us to a restaurant that served authentic Indian cuisine. He took us to Pindi's restaurant and I was extremely disappointed. I suppose the biggest clue to what was in store was that every single diner in the restaurant was a western tourist. The food seemed to have been prepared... More
