My family and I came here for lunch, and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Had our dinners at this place twice during our stay and can say that, It is one of the best restaurants in India. Though we did not explore many and had most of our meals at our hotel

The food was absolutely authentic with great use of traditional preparatory techniques. This is as close as you can be to the cuisines served in this restaurant without actually being in the land of origin. Definitely worth a visit.

Decided to celebrate my wedding anniversary in this restaurant and I did good (Phew!). The Imperial Hotel is marvelous. The colonial style decor, the ambience, perfect. The restaurant itself was magnificent. The intricately carved columns and the privacy afforded in each corner was excellent. The service especially by Rohit was impeccable. We came in early at 7PM and the service... More

The spice route in Imperial hotel is very different from its other famous and legendary restaurant- 1911. The lack of Imperial look and presence of Keralite murals really stand out. One can get a taste of Malaysian, Thai, Kerala, Vietnamese and Sri Lankan cuisines. A must try if money is no object.

At Imperial Hotel....the spice route is the one place i have fallen in love for many reasons. The place itself is amazing, the food, and specially positioned tables as per vastu. Though it's little expensive but it deserves that level due to its excellence.

The walls are works of art. Go for them. Worth seeing. Then, stay for the food. And go back for both.

Hailed as one of the 10 best restaurants in the world (by conde nast traveller who are normally quite reliable for these things) we couldn't wait to try the Spice Route as we were staying in the Imperial and had decided that, though pricey, it looked pretty reasonable for such a lauded establishment. True, the interior is beautiful but the... More

I had visited this restaurant a couple of months back and had a bad experience with the food, its taste and it temperature, however had to go again this time due a client's request and I must confess that the food this time was extremely delicious. I tried the famous taster menu and the service and the food was really... More
