A good experience in pleasant surroundings

A good opportunity to eat with your fingers on the Indian way. Here it is simple - the dishes are made so that even for a beginner is easy (it is not otherwise - often becomes messy). The food is delicious cooked - and the service is good. I recommend one of the set menus, so you get a variety... read more

This restaurant is over-rated. There's nothing wrong with the food but it's nothing special - standard North Indian fare - kebabs, dal makhani and roti. Can't complain about poor service, in fact it was too good in the sense that we had the impression that waiters wanted to feed us and get us out of the door as soon as... More

The menu is not long and hasn't changed for the past 50+ years, yet the place is packed and I am glad I reserved a table in advance. Since both my colleague and I are vegetarians, we ordered the dal Bukhara (a must have), naan and the mix veg with paneer. The veg food is tasty but non-vegetarians will clearly... More

Went back after 4 years and must say the food is still consistent and standards still good. As expected the place was packed even up to midnight. I don't particularly fancy lamb due to its strong scent but the tandoor lamb was so well marinated that was such a tasty delight. The black lentils was good curry with the many... More

Absolutely the most delicious Indian cuisine I have ever experienced. The lamb, chicken and cauliflower dishes were excellent, and the dal (yes, the dal) was out of this world. Eat with your hands; flatware provided only on request. Not a cheap thrill....

So here I was. At the Bukhara. Finally. If this is ur maiden visit to this famed eat.out@ITC Maurya and u have already been to ITC's Peshawari, the setting and the set.up at Bukhara would appear all.too familiar. Its just a change of name...but hold it, there is more to it than a simple difference in name. For one, there... More

A shock to add when you get out to your favourite place for your birthday and you land getting raw fried fish, pieces of thermocol in a mushroom soup. To top this whole evening off... Just a helpless manager who stands speechless. Quite couldn't expect this from my favourite hotel.

We were seven but certainly Bukhara did not seem a heaven. Gung ho about Clinton Platter; expectations belied as what matters. Seemed more of a drinking hole; full of foreign souls. By chance or may be; the helpings served were mundane for me. 16000 spent; for the fare; calls for better service and care. Ambience I would say; was good,,,better... More
