The service is friendly and fast, you can see right into the kitchen which is always a good thins. I love their bowl meals, delicious and filling. I don't usually drink alcohol with my meal, but but the cocktails look great. Highly recommended.

it was by accident but was a happy accident that took me to THE MONK. The place was interesting for me for the fact that this was perhaps the first place where it had a live kitchen and i could actually see my food being prepared. The cocktails and wine options could be worked on but in whole, the place... More

A perfect place to have Authentic Chinese, The Monk gives you the right kind of mix of flavours from China. A must place to visit.

Really disappointing restaurant... In fact, we've had food at their Gurgaon restaurant, and it was so much better. Seems the Delhi cousin is not really up to the mark... We went to this place on my sister's birthday, and kept it as a special choice, considering her love for oriental cuisine.... And this was such a let-down! The food was... More

The food is fairly good and alright in pricing. The staff is very courteous and amiable. It is a quiet place for dinner. The serving size was adequate (the previous times that I went - I felt the serving sizes were big, this time around it was just right). The complimentary peanuts were very tasty as well and we could... More

At one point, this was one of the best chinese restaurants in town. Off late however the management seems to have lost interest in the quality of food, the ambience and even the service. My last visit here was disappointing in terms of food, ambience and service. It's going to take a lot to get me to go back.

I am a regular at the Monk and have never had a bad experience or a bad meal here. The food, staff, atmosphere - everything is really good. But it is really tough to get a place there, especially on weekends as it is really very tiny.

Nestled in a corner of the DLF Place mall, next to Hard Rock Cafe, The Monk is an excellent Asian fine dining joint. Minimalistic interiors in shades of tan and beige, the place offers a sense of calm the moment one steps in. The food was simply delicious. We ordered three rice bowls including sichuan chicken with dried red chillies,... More
