A taste for the unusual at the Yeti

I love to return to Yeti, be it their older restaurant at Hauz Khas village or the newer outlet closer home in the M-block market, Greater Kailash 2. I prefer the branch in Greater Kailash because of its proximity to home. I and family or friends can stroll down. Moreover, it is bigger and seating... read more

If you're in Haus Kaz you have to eat here. Amazing food and a great ambience. We went there twice. It's right at the end of the main walking strip. Well worth it!

A restaurant with a good range of hilly area cuisine - North eastern, Tibetan and Nepali. The food is spiced up a bit for the Indian palate - so do insist on non spicy food while placing the order if that's your preference. It has a view of the Haus Khas lake/ old structure from a couple of tables near... More

I am not a big fan of Himalayan cuisine. So may be that is one of the reasons I was not able to appreciate the food. But the ambiance was good and the staff was also very courteous. The drinks are of course a bit pricey considering. But that is true for all the restaurants of the area.

My second time in this place. First one was ok, many months ago. I felt like some spicy food. We had to wait 10 minutes for getting any attention which hapand only after I asked for. The restaurant was empty, looks like the waiters are mad with me coming in. I asked for some dishes, half they didn't have. We... More

Tired of your Italian, Chinese and Indian dine outs? This place will challenge your taste buds, the menu reflects the culinary imagination and joyful sense of experimentation. I would not call it Himalayan cuisine because it is much more exciting! The Hauz Khas joint is much better than its GK counter part. Our favorite is the shredded fried pork and... More

Great area to walk around in, shop, and grab a bite to eat! The food was fantastic! A friend from Nepal ordered everything for us so I'm not sure what everything is called, but try the green chili fondue and the momos and the fried spinach. Delicious!

If you are a fan of Himalayan cuisine (Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan etc) then this is definitely a must visit place. This was our second visit, we ordered Thukpa and Momos and they were mouth watering. Ofcourse, only try the sauces (chutneys) they provided depending on the chilly eating appetite you have :-) The ambiance is well suited and they play... More
