I have been to Brown Sahib Restaurant a couple of times & its over all rating varied from excellent to poor on my last visit in June!So i should give it a fair rating of 3.5, for, the only thing consistent about it is its inconsistency! On my first trip i found the ambience of this restaurant on the first floor... Dear Everyone, I have never written a restaurant review, but I wanted to share my great experience to be at BROWN SAHIB. The fish was about 1 month old which was served by the waiter after waiting for 45 mins. When requested that its really really stale, the waiter said very rudely "ITS BENGALI" I used to love Bengali food... More

I had to think for some time if I wanted to give 5 stars or to take a star away for it being on the expensive side (bongs used to home food will certainly find prices of some of the dishes too high, especially the common everyday dishes) as well as the terrible biryani, but the taste of the other... When you are tired of having Indian curries every day, you better go out to the MRG Metropolitan mall and make sure you find Brown Sahib on the 3rd floor (if not 2nd). The privacy you get is great, the place is luxurious and the staff are amazing.. A wide range of food to choose from, even Pork Chops etc.... More

I saw a review in Washington Post months ago & sought out this restaurant when in Delhi. Dont' be turned off that it is in a shopping mall; once you step inside the decor cleverly shuts out the mall outside. Ask the staff to play funky old Calcutta music from the British raj days. Extensive menu of very flavorful dishes... More

If you're looking for home-style, delicious and authentic Bengali & Anglo-Indian food, then your search needs to end at Brown Sahib. This fine dining establishment impresses without intimidating - the food is simple & wholesome, and the décor elegant, yet inviting. The service is extremely discreet and warm... they are extremely helpful and make great suggestions, esp to those who... More

Have been to Brown Sahib a few times now, and every experience has been a great one (which straight away gets it high marks for consistency). Here's my quick breakdown on the place: Food: 4/5. Extremely delicious, but somewhat on the greasy and heavier side (though that obviously helps make it taste that good!) Ambience: 3.5/5. Very spacious, pleasant, and... More

A lot of my friends have been raving about Brown Sahib and recommending it to me. Although I'm nto a great fan of eating in malls, the other day we all decided to go to Brown Sahib for dinner. And what a feast for the senses. I'm half-Bengali and half-Punjabi, and have to say the food was divine. First, the... More

After waiting for over a month, we could finally manage to visit Brown Sahib yesterday evening for Dinner. With so much hype, the expectations were obviously high. Would like to give a detailed feedback of my visit. Accessability: The restaurant is easy to locate but lifts on the side of the restaurant were not operational & one had to use... More
