Authentic Korean food

After hearing a lot of rumours about this place from my Japanese colleagues, I finally visited this place. The place is very authentic and full of Korean menus, BBQ, hot pot, individual casserole, etc. Ordered spicy sung tofu chige and spicy Yule Jung. Both was nicely spicy and very tasty. I... read more

No beef; minute-sized squid in vegetables; bits of prawn in flavoured batter; Kimchi rice very oily.

This would be the harshest review I have done for a place so far, possibly because this is the only restaurant where I have gone with a prior booking and not eaten at. We visited this place after booking for a particular room, one day prior. Reconfirmed it twice, and we reach there to hear that the good tables we... More

This is a must place to visit for everyone in Delhi. If you're from Korea then this is the best place to eat something authentic, and if not from Korea the same rule applies. :-) Besides, the owner Kim come up with different dinning options that are good budget. Often meal for two can be a little over the top,... More

The initial welcome was not very warm and the first view inside the restaurant may not look so inviting... it looks more like a store room with boxes on top of old fridges. But don't let this put you off... The private are were we had booked still had patrons in there so I was invited to sit in the... More

First of all, it may be my unfamiliarity with 1. Buffalo and 2. Indian butchering methods which caused my massive disappointment. I have gone veg a few months ago, and only allow myself to indulge in meat very rarely now. Having always loved Korean BBQ I decided to treat myself to Gung, which comes with a vast reputation. When we... More

Gung is known for its authentic Korean ambience and cuisine and is definitely the best Korean joint in Delhi. The first thing that one notices is the ambience, with traditional Korean private dining room, which virtually transports you to Korea. The food is equally delicious with authentic Korean flavors. Deserves a visit multiple times!!

This is a typical run problem with expat run places in India. While the expats themselves are very friendly and humble, their Indian Managers suffer from the 'White Man' syndrome, thinking themselves to be superior to the Indian customers who walk in. Having said that I am happy to tolerate the manager of Gung, any number of times for the... More

Returned from down under recently and had enjoyed Korean food a lot there. Took a friend to try this place for the same. But unfortunately the food was very sad and below average. Ordered Korean fried chicken which was very sad. It tasted like sweeter version of chicken pakora. Also ordered spicy grilled pork which was originaly supposed to have... More
