SUMMATION: We tried all our favorite dishes from the year we spent in Japan. They were even better at this restaurant than we remembered from Japan. This was an extremely pleasant and enjoyable experience. The food was rather expensive, but well worth the cost. NAME: Sakura Japanese Kitchen (Restaurant) [10 June 2014, Dinner] ETYMOLOGY: Named after the Japanese Cherry Blossom.... More

I went here with a group of friends based on favorable reviews on TripAdvisor and everyone at the table found both the food and drinks to be lackluster. The decor was no-frills, but that was fine by me. And the service was decent. But the food just was not very good.

The service was excellent, my special request for Maki with Avocado was met even though it wasn't listed. The presentation of the food/table set was really nice and exceptional. The miso soup was slightly too salty but it was ok. They play Japanese pop music! Good job!

We were pleased to have found this Japanese restaurant in Delhi on Tripadvisor. We checked it out for the first time and were impressed by the quality and the variety of food here. Having moved to India, we've been looking for a real, go-to Japanese restaurant, and we weren't disappointed. Sakura offers the authenticity and freshness of Japanese cuisine, unlike... More

Few days back we visited this restaurant. The most amazing thing we have at this restaurant is, there homemade ice creams. The flavour you never heard about Black Sesame Seed, Green Tea, Red Bean & Spicy Wasabi. Just Awesome.

My friend and I decided to treat ourselves to the Sunday brunch at Sakura at the Metropolitan Nikko Hotel in Delhi – we are both great fans of Japanese food. It’s an all-you-can-eat buffet ranging from sushi to tempura, teppanyaki and curry (and a few other things I may have left out). We were quite delighted to see the spread... More

We liked the table where we sat, but the table that held the food other than sushi and sashimi that was at the bar, was too cramped and it was awkward to get the food. Sushi and sashimi was good but quality of other items was not as good as we have had elsewhere in Delhi at the same sort... More

After a hectic tour of India and a surfeit of Indian cuisine we needed a change. Sakura provided us with a calm haven in which we were able to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine. The soups were just perfect and the tempura was delicious . It was clear that a lot of care had gone into the sourcing of fresh ingredients... More
