If you are craving authentic South Indian food then Saravana Bhavan is the place to go. Located centrally in Connaught Place,New Delhi it serves super fresh food. I especially like the Rasam which was served with Papad(popadums). The Sambhar was a bit different and the dosas were crispy and golden brown.

I luv to have the masala dosas very much. I remember, the first day it was women's day & I along with my other female collegues visited Sarvana Bhawan from R.K. Puram to have lunch. In 2006, when my office has shifted near the Zakir Hussain College, since then I had visited thrice. Very Authentic south indian foods. Had tasted... More

A sober place to eat with friends and family. Good service and excellent food. Though you may have to wait to get in as there's usually a waiting list outside, which speaks for the awesome food itself. Authentic indian food. I can speak for south indian as thats what I ordered. Totally recommended.

Being a lover of South Indian food, I just love to visit this place. It has a lot of variety and almost everything is good in taste. The service is good and super-quick. The orders are taken on high tech gadgets which directly place the order in the kitchen. The Paper Masala Dosa over here is my favourite. I just... More

Saravana Bhavan is among top 2 south Indian restaurants in Delhi. The food is tasty & the prices are not very high.I went with a few friends after shopping around in Connought place.I found the place as usual very crowded inspite of the fact that they had 3 floors to accommodate them. After waiting for a while, we managed to find two... The food here is excelent, prices are low, however since this place is overcrowded we had to wait for a table. You also cannot stay and talk in this restaurant, waiter will ask you to leave.

Good food, good price except for two things, one that we had to wait endlessly and second, the waiter took away some of our glasses and plates before we could finish our meals which was a big letdown, maybe they were in a hurry or maybe they wanted us to leave for the next customers in line. Also there was... More
