No beaches in BT, so this is your best bet for a shoreline hike and beach time. Starfish beach now heavy on food/beer concessions and short on starfish. Still, good way to spend a day.

We walked from town (20 minutes) but well worth it. If you are looking for where the locals go this is it! Ordering off the menu will take time. We noticed all the locals ordering the "soup of the day" and obviously this came out quickly. If you are looking for fine dining or have not eaten in a local... More

I truly believe that when visiting you go where the locals go to eat. This place was very popular with the locals. We gave it a try and were not disappointing. It's a local diner where you can get a meal with a beer for $5/pp. Food was very good too. Keep in mind, there is no English spoken here,... More

My wife and I had lunch there on a rainy balmy day. Had the homemade soup and a side of rice...$2.50...which was fantastic. Washed it down with $1 beers... you just can't beat that!

If you like a local meal, with tropical favor. Restaurant that is clean and close to the ocean. Has the best soup in town! And, to me its the best price in town, even better than Chicho's or Tom's. Now, what I dislike about it is, since they have few help, food takes forever sometimes. But, that aside, I love... More

Bocas del Drago... it's the primitive side of the Caribbean. Take the Drago bus from the park in Bocas town. There's a good restaurant for lunch and it's just a short walk to Starfish Beach.

This is a good place to get local food. Puerco guisado (pork stew) arroz con Pollo. Fruit juices are good but sweetened. Right at the side of the road near the public beach.

We were recommended to visit this neighbourhood restaurant for lunch by Lee at Bahia del Sol. The restaurant did not disappoint. My girlfriend ordered the conch, which came in a red sauce as part of a huge plate containing vegetables, patacones and salad. I bravely ordered the mondongo (stewed tripe with pork) and it was great- very tender and tasty.... More

My boyfriend and I were looking for a Caribbean restaurant that did Rondon and were advised that this place did it.We were disappointed when we got there and were told it was only served a couple of times in the later part of the week so we missed it! However,we decided to stay on the basis that we were already... More

Down home caribe cooking done very well and inexpensive, The liver and onions in a creole sauce, served with rice, beans and salad was very good and a bargain at only $4.00. My mate had a giant chicken burrito, which she loved, for $6.00. Cold beer and sodas are $1.00. Service was good and with a smile. We will be... More
