We ate pretty much everything on the menu. The burgers are excellent, really well made. But the best thing is the empanadas. The contents varies on a daily basis, we tried roasted vegetable, mini cheese burgers, braised beef in coconut and wine, and plantain and garlic. Everything was exceptional! They also make a great snack cold for lunch. The owner... More

The empanadas, burgers, and drinks are all totally wonderful! Great innovation with fresh local ingredients, baked (not greasy fried in old fat) empanadas, veggie and meat--marvelous. I can't wait to get back and try their pies and take-home frozen meals.

Taller De Sabor was recommended by our hosts, so we went there for lunch. We had hamburgers which were very good and just the thing after several days of overly rich and over priced food. I had a berry and banana smoothie, which was simply yummy, and it was nice to taste the fruit without any added sugar. My husband... More

While I was in Bocas I had a hard time to find decent priced food and snacks but this place got it all. Im so happy i found this littel spot that has delicous lemonadas and veggie empanadas. The only critic i could give as an enviornmental friend is that the hamburgers are served on aluminium foil which takes forever... More

I like the US taste of the hamburgers, it was like eating at a outback. What I dislike is that its not always open, like many of the business in the island.

George and Norma"s specialty are baked empanadas with many different gormet fillings. They do not use MSG and always have veggie options. As well they have a great hamburger at a very reasonable price and a veggie option of a black bean burger. The empanadas are only $1 each. It's a very healthy treat. They are located on the road out to the hospital... More

This quaint little Mom and Pop shop has the best hamburgers I have had! They even have a great black bean burger if you prefer no meat. You can add a Caribbean twist by having them put carmelized plantain on the top, YUM!!!! No kidding, don't miss this one. As soon as the word gets out, how good these burgers... More

This is not a fancy restaurant, but a little place across from Habla ya Spanish school on the way into town. The burgers are great, nice piece of beef with cheese lettuce and tomatoes for 3.50. The empanadas were delicious and came in three varieties. We tried them all and they were all good. Definitely worth a try.

Whenever I need a quick snack I stop by George's. His empanadas are delicious and because he bakes them they're more healthy than the typical fried empanadas you get in Bocas.

WOW!!! Coconut curry chicken? Beef braised in red wine? Falaffel?!?!? Can these possibly be empanada ingredients? !?! Yes! And their to die for! I Ste them on 7/14 days in Bocas!!! Solo good! And the owner will bring you in the kitchen and teach you how to make them if you ask nicely!
