An Indian treat

We had a sampler plate of the appetizers and it was loaded with spicy kababs, a tofu kebab, chickpea and potato curries, a samosa, chutney and yogurt sauce. It was a large serving for 2 people and good way to sample many of the things on the menu. We also had the Butter Chicken, which was good... read more

I must say that I was thoroughly disappointed with my visit. The meals were tiny. Perhaps my standards of meal size is much different, however I ended up ordering three main courses to feel satisfied. Considering the exorbitant cost, I wasn't that thrilled with the end bill either. Lastly, I wasn't too impressed with the staff's customer service. My initial... More

Would rate Om higher if it wasn't for the annoying kitchen/wait staff. They were laughing loudly, joking around like kids and generally oblivious to the fact that customers were trying to enjoy their dinner. The food was good although the tikka and vindaloo tasted similar (just one spicer than the other). I wouldn't go back.

Samosas as a starter and two veggie dishes as main course. The paneer was quite tasty but the vegetable curry was almost tasteless. Taking the spicy options may help. The ladies in the cafe were mostly chatting. All in all just an average experience.

This little place has a lot to offer, unfortunately I only stayed for some Chai Tea and Naan, I would have loved to try some of the main dishes. As you might already know, Bocas is quite hot, so I was looking for something refreshing and I found it in Om Cafe... their home-made ice-cream with rose water and spices... More

Most of the dishes were really good and flavorful. All the curry dishes were really good. One exception was the mixed vegetable with coconut sauce. The kitchen was excruciatingly slow. The restaurant was less then half full but it took a full half hour to get our appetizers. There was only 1 wait staff on so she also too forever... More

The dishes were very tasty, we didn't expect such good Indian food in Bocas del Toro. The athmosphere is very nice as well, very romantic.

OM Cafe was great. I ended up there twice during my stay. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the ambiance is fantastic, and the food is great. I had the Curry Fish one night and a vegetarian dish another night. Food is incredible. Prices are also great. Definitely recommend this spot for any travelers.

The views and vibes of the restaurant were great, overlooking the ocean with lots of options for seating and great decorations. I only got the crab soup, but it was one of the best I've had. Service was a little slow, and I ended up paying at the bar because my waiter was missing, but I was not in a... More
