Went to Rip Tide the day we arrived with friends for lunch, the food was good, reasonable, and the atmosphere was great. We visited Rip Tide many more times during our visit to hang out and have drinks.

I heard this place used to be a great spot for food and drinks. It is up for sale now and I guess whomever the owner has left in charge has let it go downhill. Nice to sit on the deck for the cool ocean breezes, but that's about it.

Service was lackluster and would have enjoyed a more generous pour (actually would have liked a Jameson's but had to go with Scotch). But it is a bar on a boat in Paradise. Can't go too wrong with that.

We went to dinner at Rip Tide on the night before a full moon. Sitting on the boat, eating dinner and watching the moon rise over the bay was amazing. I had the fish and chips and was very happy I did. The fish was done to perfection and the fries where perfect as well. Thankfully it wasn't all you... More

The food at RipTide is, quite simply, damned good joint food! Make no mistake, the Tide is a joint that makes no pretense about being a fine restaurant... simply serving very good food. You're not in Chicago, Miami, or Boston, you're in remote Panama and getting very good food for a reasonable price. The Tide is an old Shrimper that... More

If you are going to rip people off, and they are in a group - at least rip all of them off and not just the ones you feel like ripping off. It is ILLEGAL for you to just add on 17% - 7% yes but it should be printed on your menu OR the waitress should let you know... More

Best onion rings in town! Cheap beer! This place is pretty rad, the servers are local and they are just awesome. Super friendly. Great food, great prices. It's definitely a pretty unique place being that it's on a boat. We've been a few times already and I'm sure we'll be going a few more times before we leave!
