We ate at the Playa Bluff Beach Restaurant 4-5 times while staying at Playa Bluff Lodge, which is the ecolodge that is right behind the restaurant and pool (where, by the way, I fully recommend that you stay while visiting Bocas del Toro). The atmosphere of the restaurant is very casual and open-air with a bar and beautiful, unique tables... More

My friends and I spent the day here to use the pool and get some food. The pool was lovely and clean, and instead of paying $5 for pool use you can buy food as a substitute. Here were my main issues: - my friend and I shared the seafood plate for two. During one of his mouthfuls he felt... More

We had one meal here, reasonably priced and nice but the portions were very large. Popular with families with children whenever we passed by it.

Well worth taking a cab out to Bluff Beach - for the waves and the view and the beaches and just liming in general. We stopped at the second beach bar for a drink and to soak in the ambiance, then decided to go back here to have lunch and a couple of drinks, on our last day in Bocas.... More

We had attentive service and the drinks were okay, but the menu looked catered to American kids (think chicken fingers, fish sticks, french fries). Not even something like hummus and chips. Each time we went, they were out of fish. We were in Bluff Beach area for three days. Our kids loved it as they got to swim in the... More

We took the local bus with no idea of what. When there we ate a fish dinner that was very good and fresh, within a reasonable .price range. The restaurant table we were at looked at the ocean and beach which this area was very calm and swimming inviting. We will go there again for sure to eat and swim

Five minute further the first entrance to Bluff Beach, there is this restaurant. It's a very nice place, you can eat in the restaurant or drink margaritas seated from the beach.

Amazing beach, not many people, great food, drinks and music. However it is dangerous for swimming due to rip tides, but good for surfing.

We came across this piece of heaven while on an ATV tour. We had no intention at the time of stopping but there was no way we could pass by! It's a quite large open air restaurant with a lovely pool area in the back. Across the path was a large area with chairs and tables and hammocks on the... More

I wish we would have stayed here instead of Saigon Bay. This place is total paradise. We met the owner too (the wife, not the husband). She's cool as hell! We only had drinks, but the grounds were gorgeous and the bar was super cool!
