Beautiful resort, but very western and pretty expensive. We went there for drinks (650 rs) and dinner. The food was fine, but the dinner portions were small while expensive (900-1000) a dish. Good drinks and great pineapple fritters for dessert. Plus beautiful surroundings!

The waiting time for the food (more than an hour) was a bit long with an empty stomach, but the food was great, tasty perfectly cooked rice and vegetables, seafood also very good!

We took a walk from Sandy's cabanas after our check in and the mangrove beach bar became a usual destination once a day. They have good sri lankais breakfast, fresh fruit juice, good cocktails and a very tasty menu overall. It's a little cheaper then other places on the beach. Go chill there the service is excellent!
