Don't be put off by the slightly grimy look of the place, it's clean and the staff is friendly. Based on the large number of local clientele, the place is a bit of an institution in the neighborhood. We had the Kabul Naan (very similar to murtabak in Southeast Asia) plus Cheese Kottu and Chicken Paratha Fry, all of which... More

My friends and I visited this place just as soon as we got to Kandy by train. We Were tired and extremely hungry. They provided very good food for a very reasonable price. The quantity provided was extremely good. The only down side is that the place is not very clean. If they could improve a bit on that, the... More

We visited the Kandy Muslim Hotel, which is located right on Kandy Lake and close to the Queens Hotel, to have dinner. The Khabul Roti was delicious. The waiter was friendly and helpful in explaining some of the dishes on the menu.

We went t eat at the Muslim hotel and all of the food looked really nice but on entering we were immediately ushered upstairs away from the main eating hall downstairs where you could see the food being prepared.Upstairs was hot dirty and only europeans,we felt we had been segregated,so we left all in all not a good sign

Great value for money. Best beef Samosas I've ever had and Kottu Rotti rocks as well. Gives some idea about different food in SL.

Shabby looking restaurant close to the clock tower, plates wrapped in plastic... At first sight not very appealing but the noodles are fantastic and very cheap. Go and try some of the authentic lifestyle and food!

Very basic, no frills but good, fresh and delicious food for very little money. Fun watching when our dishes were prepared. Staff speaks little English but helpful.

I am used to Tamoul restaurants un Paris an this was a disapointment. It was not really clean, staff not very nice. Food was almost cold. Byriani was not good. Fried parotta and kottu OK. I do not recommend. It was very cheap though.
