Great samosas, Dahl wade and veg rotti. Very cheap for a quick lunch and located along the main street in Kandy.

If you are in kandy at lunch time this place is well worth the visit for the rice and curry, some of the best we tasted on our whole trip and so very cheap for the size of the portions. The atmosphere was great and it was very busy with both locals and tourists. The attached bakery was also very... More

This large restaurant in the centre of Kandy was very good value for money. Between the four of us we had soup, burgers, curry & rice, desserts, (the delicious watalappan - local dessert) & some delicious fresh fruit juice. This restaurant would not earn michelin stars but everything tasted fine & was SO cheap! I had to climb a few... More

We had some short eats here and the cafeteria style restaurant was lovely. The food was good and basic, and it's cheap as chips. We saw loads of foreigners and locals chowing down here, so definitely recommended.

This was a really bad choice. Its a huge place, uncomfortable, noisy and dirty. The food we got was the worst we had in sri lanka. Tomatosoup is ketchup with wather, sirloin-steak is pieces of chopped meat, and the seafood was not existing. Sad experience, definitely a NoGo!

We struggled to find somewhere in central Kandy that looked good for supper and decide this was probably the safest options around. Food was better than expected. Quite standard stuff but were were a little disappointed that you can't get curry dishes after 2.30pm. Reasonable price reasonable service, but there didn't appear to be much competition in central Kandy.

Food is OK and choose according to your choice. Reasonable price with compared with hotels nearby. Can be reached with in a shorter period and located in Kandy city limits.

Kandy has a dearth of anywhere remotely palatable to eat in. It seems most people use their hotel restaurants. The Devon is clean with a diverse menu. However better to stick to their standards. Had a very good veg curry with rice on the first day. Next day though. We tried to order breakfast at just after 7.30 am. It does... More

Good variety of food at a reasonable price. Liked the concept of family restaurant with the children's playing area. Spacious too. Had a good family dining experience.

Very talked about but nothing much to write home about, Not so clean, crowd on your head and unfriendly waiter. Food was okay though --- but the rest was not. Can be avoided
