i had my lunch here. in their lunch menu there were four or five dishes to select. i selected rice with five curries. taste and aroma is different from same available in the south. not sure it is authentic Jaffna of south indian. Their service is good! place is clean and importantly price is relatively cheaper. it is easy to... More

Easy to find by the Nallur temple. Basic menu, no alcohol served. We tried Cheese Kottu (excellent), Kottu (excellent) and both the Masala Dosa and the Paper Masala Dosa. Masal Dosa was good, Paper Dosa pretty oily. Prices range from 200 for a meal with drinks from 60. Service is good, friendly and prompt, even when most tables were taken... More

One of the well known restaurants in jaffna and near the nallur temple. The food is really good but sometimes can be a little salty. You should try the mangos special dosai or for the people who luv ur spicy food the chilli parota. But if u order fruit juices beware!!! They have a habit of arriving very late (;... More

MANGOS is a good restraint located within the Jaffna city limits. Finding MANGOS is just that easy, because it is located behind the famous NALLUR Temple. It is a vegetarian restaurant and South Indian food is served. Food is Very Good and The Prices are reasonable even for locals. The environment is nice and dining in the evening will give... More

We were really looking forward to a meal at Mangos and the setting is nice. The food was disappointing, it looked great but even though we each had something different the fillings/chutneys were all the same and it was very oily. One of our group was very sick afterwards.

I have visited several times and see the gradual decline of the prestige over time. Food is alright but service is poor and over priced. Not enough parking space.

It's a clean & tidy restaurant strategically located near the largest & best known temple (Nallur Kovil) in Jaffna. The food is extremely good. A burst of strong spicy flavours served with a generous hand. It's very reasonable too. The ambiance is warm & welcoming. We were there for brunch....so the dosa & rotis were not available. But the thali... More

We ate a few times here, food is perfect, juices are made freshly and thick, prices are cheap compared to the quality. Two Dinners (Dosai and similar things), lunch (Thali) and a packed lunch for our train journey to Colombo. Everything was very good! When we had the lunch thali, it was after bad food I ate at Cosy Restaurant,... More

REALLY bad restaurant. We were used to spicy dishes since we were in Sri Lanka for 3 weeks at that moment, but it was WAY to spicy, even if we asked for non-spicy dishes. The service is actually the poorest we had in a month in SL. It’s so slow my wife felt asleep before having the first of the... More
