Description: Whether you send your appetite to India or Thailand, the fiery curries at this English-run hotspot will seize your taste buds upon arrival, mercilessly shake them up and then spit them back out the other side as if you've died and gone to chili heaven (hence the name). They also bottle their own hot sauces here and bring in loads of English beers you don't often see. Critical comida peruana antidote.

The curries are really good, but here is a little warning: fairly hot is really hot, at least in Swiss standards for hot...

I went to this place with my friend and we both took the kari. It was so good that we came here 3 more times. The food is unbelievable and the owners are wonderful people (free beer for finishing the plate! Awesome!) If you are in huaraz and you like spicy food, this place is a must. It truly is... More

I have gone to Chili Heaven for the past 6 years and it is not only consistently delicious no matter what you order, but it is perhaps one of the best restaurants for Indian, Thai, and Mexican dishes I have ever been to in the world (no, really!). I spend a few months each year working 3 hours away from... More

Went there twice, first we had Indian curries, tikka was decent and korma average (but this is a hard dish to cook). Then we had the fajitas, wow that was great , they arrived on a sizzling plate with onions and peppers, and of course all the sides (guacamole, garlic sauce, beans, two types of bread , ...) Didn't try... More

I'll keep this short. Beatrice (the owner) has created a haven away from the typical lomo saltado/cuy options. The curry here is absolutely amazing, and she is a great person to chat with as well. Seriously, this is a must for dinner in Huaraz while here. I had an Indian curry with just the right amount of spice. There are... More

This place has so many good types of curry, you can't just go once! Very authentic curry from a brit that has been living in Huaraz for a long time. The restaurant is a staple of Huaraz and give lots back to the community. Always good to support good responsible restaurants that improve the area they operate in.

These may have been the best two meals we've had in our six weeks in South America. Yes, in the two days we had in huaraz, we ate here twice. I am so glad we stumbled upon it. First, my fiance and I ordered Mexican: fajitas and a burrito. OMG AMAZING. big portions, lots of side sauces for the fajitas,... More

I can't believe I stumbled on this place my last day in Huaraz. I had a veggie tofu curry that was out of this world. Cooked to perfection! Best meal I've had so far in Peru. The owner/cook, Beatrice is incredibly helpful also. Don't miss out.
