Definitely a locals favorite. The "menu" (fixed price 3 course offering) was delicious and incredibly cheap. Just arrive before 2. Made the stop here several times, for dinner as well.

This seems to be where all the locals go when they need a meat fix. We ate an enormous mixed grill, huge pile of chips and salad. It tasted good and was good value too. The staff are atentive and the dining room is atmospheric.

Wow I loved this place! Went with some locals and had a tasty meal, lots of food, and what a great price. Nice to leave the Periodista area and eat sort of locally, especially if you are really hungry.

We came here several times and enjoyed it each time. The price is higher than most places, but lower than some of the other gringo haunts around town. The salads are good. So is the chicken, rabbit, and trout. Service is okay. If it's a little slow or things get forgotten it's balanced out by cheerfulness and good table manicuring.

The dishes in this restaurant are well prepared and served well as for two. We found different types of dishes. The price is cheap and you could say this in the category of rich and cheap.

They do a great job with their cooked meat. Just slightly above backpacker budget prices, this is a good place to treat yourself if you're backpacking - if you're on vacation, it's a cheap option that gives great value.

We love the "pollos a la brassa" in Peru and this restaurant served a delicious chicken. For 35 soles (about $13) you get a full chicken with plenty home fries, fresh salad and typical spicy sauces. Great to share for four people. I could see the other dishes being served, like the Lomo Saltado, which I plan to go back... More

Authentic peruvian food, well prepared and priced right. Beware! Portions are BIG. One dish can easily be shared by two people. Ask for "Papacahsqui" soup, it's gorgeus.

Ordered Parilla por Dos for my wife and daughter and I, and we still had leftovers to bring back home. We've been here for four months now, and aside from the food my wife and I cook at home, this is the best we've had outside of home.
