Deceptive Pricing, Annoying Entertainment

The lunch buffet looks remarkable, but the flavors were disappointing. Most importantly, the pricing on the chalk board outside the entry way is deceptive. All items on the board are listed in soles, except for the buffet with is in dollars. We overlooked this, as most likely many patrons do. When... read more

The restaurant was quite a surprise. We were starving and decided we had hiked enough and didn't want to hike up to the hotel in Agua Calientes so we stopped at this restaurant. The food was very good, service was excellent, prices reasonable and best of all we did not have to walk up any hills to get there. You... More

After visiting Machu Picchu and having some time to spare before our train back to Cusco, we chose to eat at Toto's House for the great view of the raging river below. Most of our meals in Peru have been mapped out via trip advisor reviews or friends referrals but this one we went into blindly and were very surprised... More

Most prices on board shown in sole. Had lunch buffet figuring great price for buffet. Bill comes and rather than 24 sole it came as 60 sole. Only item on board shown in US dollar

After a long day at Machu Picchu this place is a perfect stop while waiting for the train out of town. Good views of the river, good service and pretty good food. 60 soles for the buffet, not exactly cheep but half the price you will pay just outside the ruins.

Hungry after our time at Macchu Picchu, and with a few hours before our train, we found this restaurant to be comfortable and welcoming. Our table was near the fire pit, which was inviting on a rainy afternoon (that is, until an ember landed on one of us). Our server was excellent. Those who chose the buffet were not disappointed... We had a lot of rain in MP. We wanted a cozy place in AC. We found this restaurant. We both had the buffet. It was fine and relaxing with a great view over the water.

We called in for lunch on the strength of TA reviews. We had a fabulous table by the window. Our waiter was terrific, he couldn't do enough for us. My husband had the pizza and I the "Thai" chicken salad. I couldn't find much Thai about it. Problem was both dishes were extremely salty, especially the salad, I couldn't finish... More

The food is just OK, but what's really outstanding is the views over the river, especially from the outside tables. After a meal get a 30 minute massage at the "spa" just next door that has surprisingly well trained therapists, much higher quality massage than you would expect from the dingy building they're housed in.
