Worst restaurant experience. Terrible service, overpriced menu, disgusting food (do not order meat - they will serve it raw), hidden charges. Avoid at all cost.

Not wanting to get traveller's belly we tended not to eat 'street food' and opted for restaurants (although that's not a guarantee). The pizzas were tasty, not an abundance of toppings. The tables has glass tops and you could see where crubs had dropped down the sides and under the glass - best not to dwell on that when you're... More

Lesson learnt - must check trip adviser - Went here after being lured in by false promises of free drinks and Nachos. nachos never arrived and free drinks were not free because we had a different menu which was not even mentioned. I nearly walked out and should have done as food was uneatable. I has spaghetti Bolognese and the... More

Chose the restaurant Because we were tired and the guy who lured us in said we would get a free drink each (after clarifying it was including red wine and inka cola etc) and free nachos. The nachos never arrived even after asking several times. It was a miracle to recieve any drinks or food. Took over 45 mins. Food... More

Having just arrived in town and wanting a quick supper, I failed to stop at the internet cafe and check trip advisor for a good place to eat in Aguas Calientes. Big mistake. I entered the cozy restaurant on the plaza and ordered a small pizza. It took about 1/2 hour and arrived with a soggy crust and a sauce... More

The previous reviewers have had the EXACT same experience as me. Just wish I'd had good internet connection so I could have used TripAdvisor to read the reviews before I landed here. Same story... people outside beg you to come in. The guy in particular told us that we'd get s./10 Pisco Sours and s./10 (10 soles) for nachos. (By... More

They begged people to come in and we chose this one because of the ambiance alone. Food was edible, but certainly not special. Service was slow (mom and pop op). The biggest surprise however was when we received our bill and were charged an extra 20 soles for tip/tax!! We were never forced to pay tip at any other restaurant... More

Pay attention if you are planning to have a dinner or a lunch in this nice place in Aguas Caliente's main square. They are really unfair. We choose this restaurant because seemed very nice. We had a dinner (4 people) and the food was quite good, nothing special. But at the end of dinner we had a bad surprise, in... More

Aguascalientes has many restaurants to choose from and there are people hounding you on the streets to try their restaurant. We chose this one because of the location and the balcony overlooking the main square. However looks are deceiving. We had two different dishes to share and both left us wishing we had ordered another item. They were dry and... More
