Great position high up the hill with good quirky restaurant seating area. Four of us ate here and the food was just ok. Two of us had good dishes and the other two were disappointed with theirs. We did enjoy the atmosphere, It is not a cheap meal and they need to up their game in our opinion.

The portions are not huge but the food was delicious and we left satisfied. It is a trip up the stairs but the restaurant was a great lunch.

The crispy trout was delightful. A wonderful bit sized trout ceviche in a puff ball pastry appetizer was provided on the house. I also enjoyed the Cumbres maize beer. The sweet potato ravioli was forgettable. The chocolate bar "cake" with Pisco soaked fruit was odd and has an off putting texture. They were understaffed on the evening went a second... More

To everything else we found around. Stylish decor, cool music, great food (we both had Trout Sashimi with Lime / Wasabi and Alpaca with passion fruit demi glace) Given how far in front this place felt, the bill was reasonable. This seems a genuine cut above.

No passion fruit juice - so all my 3 options of cocktail and dishes are off.... Also out of the wine I picked (Peruvian Chenin blanc white).. Had to Settled for another Peruvian Sauvignon blanc - which was very good... My partner ordered a mojito but got a caipirinha!!! After checking in at the hotel above, we made our way... More

I wrote ahead to reserve tables for 15 in our travel group, and we were not disappointed! I'm glad I checked during the day, because even though I had brought the email confirmation with me on the trip, the day we got there they didn't have record of our reservation. This is a very small restaurant, they did honor our... More

We got this recommendation from the hotel clerk and we were not dissapointed. We had lomo, pasta and alpaca wraped in bacon with chimichurri, falafel with quinoa tabule. to drink, some chicha morada and wine... it was gorgeous. Totally recommended

We chose The Tree House based on reviews from this site and absolutely were not disappointed. While the prices are higher than other places in Peru they still compare favourably with those here in Britain, and I have to say this was one of the best meals we have ever had. The hotel made the reservation for us and the... More

This restaurant was highly recommended by the hotel we stayed Tierra Viva so we decided to have a lunch there. We arrived late in the afternoon so there were just few customers there. It was clean and the decoration is refreshing, as explained by the name of the restaurant itself. The food and drinks are really good at reasonable price... More
