Our waiter was very attentive and even showed us a book about potatoes when my mom said she was very interested in the different kinds of potatoes. I had the trout and my boyfriend had the alpaca steak. Both were delicious and the detail on the plate was lovely!

The restaurant was a little small so reservations are highly encouraged, but the food was delicious. The wait was a little long, but we were on Machu Picchu time. :) It was a nice experience.

We weren't expecting to eat well in Aguas Calientes, so the Tree House was a pleasant surprise. It's a bit hard to find, and you have to trek up some stairs to get there (which can be hard to justify after a long day of hiking at Machu Picchu) but it was worth it. The food and the service were... More

Six of us had dinner here one of our nights in Aguas Calientes. Nice atmosphere and service. Everyone's dinner was excellent expect for mine. I didn't care for my dish, dry and tasteless. I had the Quinio Kai (sweet and sour chicken). Others had the beef tenderloin, Thai chicken and alpaca dish. The dessert was excellent. They took credit cards... More

This place was super hard to find, but definitely worth the search. The food was very good, complex dishes with Peruvian themes, however twists on them which made them unique and tasty. The food and atmosphere reminded me of a trendy (but not over priced) New York restaurant.

Tree house is one of the highlights of my trip to Peru! It has the best food I've eaten in a very long time, and the service was phenomenal. They make their own Pisco infusions - I had one with ginger, and it was wonderful. The Quinoa Risotto just about blew my mind, and the deserts are not to be... More

Booked in here on recommendation from others for an evening meal. We were staying at Rupa Wasi which is next door so was also very convenient. First impressions were very positive and the dining room itself is well done and has a modern and well designed look to it. Service and food were really good, best we'd come across in... More

An evening at theTree House and you forget you are in a small, almost inaccessible Peruvian town in the jungle. The treat you are in for reminds you more of a top notch restaurant in Europe or the US. The food is tasty with a touch of the fusion food of Peru and comes in normal - to big portions.... More

I think we drove our poor waiter crazy choosing wines. In the end though, we ended up with some really nice wines - often hard to find in this part of the world. And the food was excellent. We had steaks smothered in mushroom sauce with mashed potatoes which were excellent. We wished we had enough time to try their... More
