We visited treehouse the night before visiting Machu Picchu and it truly added to our experience. The restaurant is a little hidden up a steep lane way behind the main square (we had a little trouble finding it in the dark wothout a map) but definitely worth the wander. We didnt book, as it was later in the evening, but... More

We were recommended this by some friends that we made while trekking in the Cordillera Blanca. We were on quite a tight budget, and so we weren't sure about whether we would actually eat there, but it looked lovely and we were persuaded by the tasty menu and the kind staff. We did not regret it. It was one of... More

Terrific food, be patient! We agree with other reviewers about The Tree House food. The kitchen takes care to prepare each dish; that can take 25 minutes. The wine list was (our taste, of course) adequate, the deserts were wonderful. We were particularly delighted with a slice of passion fruit pie, like a cheese cake with a passion fruit sauce... More

Everything about this restaurant is absolutely extraordinary!!! Sweet and sour chicken was divine, beef tenderloin was the best beef ever and the desserts were fab! Central location near the square, friendly, helpful staff, stunning interior and cute bathrooms! Highly recommended 😀😀

Got soup? Come on up and have an awesome hot soup made with some andinean spices. The whole atmosphere is very relax and the food is exquisite. Step aside from the crowd and have quality time in this hidden place.

Very hard to find but worth the effort. Up a steep, narrow staircase off a small alley off the main square. Not a tourist trap like most other Aguas Calientes restaurants. Very nice interior and great food. Prices comparable to other fine restaurants in the Cusco area.

It's Peru, expect steps. The food is excellent, the service outstanding and the atmosphere a beautiful combination of lovely wood and the ancient stone structure that supports it. We arrived for a late lunch and ordered accordingly sharing some items including dessert. I'd recommend this restaurant for a group, couple, or family. The menu is broad enough to satisfy the... We absolutely loved the risotto and the different flavored pisco sours - our favorite being the pisco passion fruit and cardamom. Great waiter and bartender! Absolutely one of our best experiences in Peru in terms of food, drinks and ambience!

Not a tourist trap ! You know that when nobody grabs you on the street to get in... Service was impeccable.
