What a surprise

What the heck, really in Aguascalientes this place blew me away. The food was incredible and the service was great. I would highly recommend it for dinner but I have to speak to the building itself, part artsy pirate ship, part treehouse, part international travel Mecca, this place is something NOT... read more

Ate here while staying in Aguas Calientes. The décor was nice. However everything else was quite mediocre. Firstly we ate lunch after 3pm, there was practically no one there - maybe only 2 other guests. We waited for 1 hour before our meals arrived. The pork was very fatty and greasy - not a lot of meat. The restaurant was... More

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, sort of neighborhood bar like. The food was excellent and accompanied with some great beer.

The ceviche was excellent as well as the steak medallions with mushroom sauce. Decor is cool and interesting for the location. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice bar as well if you just want to hang for a while.

We just stopped by for a quick snack before our bus ride but this ended up being one of the best meals of our trip. The staff were friendly, professional and paid so much attention to detail. We ordered a pasta and a soup between the 3 of us and the staff split them both into 3. Not only were... More

We had lunch here during our last day at Aguas Calientes. The food was excellent - from the entrees (two of us had the grilled trout with mango and my husband had the chicken version) to the freshly baked bread, the home-made potato chips, and the baked stuffed tomato. The juice drinks were served in huge glasses! We were quite... More

After 3 nights/4 days hiking and camping on the Inca Trail, this lunch a delightful experience. Juan, our superb guide with South Explorations took our group of 6 there. I'd been craving potato chips, and when they placed those trays of fresh, crisp chips on the table I couldn't believe it. Members of our group enjoyed the pineapple chicken, trout,... More

We were lucky to have a dinner and lunch at this restaurant included in our tour. They say it's one of the best in Peru and we believe them! We had different starters and main courses which are an imaginative blend of French and Peruvian cuisine (the sole with mango is excellent). The deserts are rather on the French classic... More

This great little restaurant delivers big with a French/ Peruvian fusion menu. I can't say enough good things. I was in town for 3 days and ate here twice. I particularly like the pineapple chicken that was served right in the pineapple. The beer is cold and the mixed drinks were amazing. The best Pisco sour. The atmosphere is eclectic... More
