Great food after a long walk up and down Machu Picchu

We went to Indio Feliz with some new trekking friends. I honestly thought we were going in for a Indian meal. But the name refers to Columbus who thought he'd found India. Anyway we sat down. We didn't have much time so the waiter made sure that the food came swiftly. We had the 3 course set menu... read more

Every dish that we had was amazing. The "menu del día" is a great value, where you can get three courses for the price of one. If you're are eating here after going up to Machu Picchu, don't hesitate to order the frozen lemonade, it's huge and very refreshing. Great service with very friendly and helpful waiters.

We had lunch here after visiting Machu Picchu. The restaurant has considerable atmosphere amid quirky decoration situated just off the main street near tot he Square. My wife and I both had local trout which was delicious. Charming and efficient service and they serve Green King Abbott bitter!

The menu with many choices as starter, main course and desert is absolutely recommendable. Very good is the trout meunière.

We had an excellent multiple course lunch. The food was fresh and inventive. The beer and drinks were also great. We had very good service. Everything you could ask for in a dining establishment.

What the pictures don't show are the business cards and other stuff that are stuck to the walls, ceilings, you name it ... tons of it. Makes for great conversation. Food was excellent; local specialities and global faves. Service was very good and prices fair. Definitely geared to travelers.

I was there Monday 25th around 1pm. Waiter practically forced me to sit upstairs saying "sit here". They didn't let me sit downstairs or select a table, they had enough tables downstairs. I was forced to sit upstairs all alone. He just pointed me to a corner table and I had to accept it! Waiter didn't know how to explain... More

Finally! A great restaurant in Aguas. We were here for three days and this was the only place we ate at, that was decent. Great food, awesome quaint decor and staff that were on the ball. Food was well presented and so tasty, it had us licking our fingers.

After a long hot, hike up Huayna Picchu, I returned to Aguas Calientes ready for a nice meal and a glass of wine. My hotel had recommended Indiofeliz, and it was absolutely wonderful. Best homemade pasta dish I've ever had. The wine, service & atmosphere were exceptional, and there was even a lovely woodburning fireplace near my table. It must... More

We had a nice dinner And were well looked after by the staff, the place is a little quirky but very nice. AC is a town that people pass through rather than stay so some of the restaurants could be just tourist traps this one was a step and bit above that.
