Umutu Cafe - Formerly Il Sorriso - Good food and reasonably priced

I was told that Umutu was a must go place to eat. It was Il Sorriso rebranded as Umutu! The food quality and presentation was the same as Il Sorriso but the prices were much more reasonable. Definitely worth a visit. Was there for lunch and the place was empty which was such a pity considering the... read more

I made a reservation for my bosses a week before for a buffet. Paid in advance and the restaurant had the effrontery to tell us that they were not aware about it when we got there for the buffet. If not for the receipt that was taken as proof of payment. Extremely disappointed with the management of this restaurant and... More

After booking in advance for a buffet service for 7 people (3 course meal and drinks) and paying in advance 90% of the bill and agreeing with the restaurant manager the menu and the billing. I got to the restaurant to discover he had not notified any of his colleagues and there was no food for us at the agreed... More

Everyone who knows me knows am like a rabbit with Salads do a couple of friends lured me to go have a feel of the seafood here. It's a superb place, I ain't a fun of sea animals but I had to taste en it was a rather strangely lovable trip down my throat. I couldn't help but order a... More

We went to the restaurant during the week, we were the only diners there at this time but it was after lunch and before dinner. Our server was very accommodating. The manager (not sure if he is the owner) was at the front desk and was very helpful. There was concern as I needed seafood from the sea only not... More

Four of us went based on a recommendation from a colleague. The interior is nice and slightly rough. We found a table on the veranda. The menu looks a bit fast foodish with color picture of some dishes. We had a mixed starter to share. Crab cakes, prawns and calamari.Almost a full meal and nice but close to be too... More

Sea food in all its splendor...Fresh catch, great crew, clean place and central. Take the suggestions of the Chief - he is not only discerning but also super attentive.

Coral Blue represents quite unique thing in Lagos - good food, reasonable price, competent service and should be recommended to all travellers. Their combos are delicious - line fish meaty, fresh, nicely grilled and perfectly done shrimps. I took salad with it, but my neighbour chips were also crispy and nice, very good spicy sauce. Beer for 600N, altogether good... More
