Amazing experience in Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate is a small town in southern Morocco which is the gateway for those who want to experience the desert. Its main claim to fame are the two film studios where most of the desert based films are produced. It is the last place we expected to find this kind of quality restaurant. Very... read more

The food is very, very good and the decor very interesting and exotic. Located on one of the main roads and so very easy to find. Not cheap but worth the money

Food was decent but I've had better elsewhere. Nice set up however. Really geared to tourists with Marrakech price.

We were fascinated by the charm and the fierce silence kept by the landlord's humble withstanding the crisp, cold air of desert night, inviting us in this very cosy and comfortable restaurant. The tightness and spotless service was only matched by the intense personality of the owner, attending herself all guests, as well as the decency and kindness of the... More

My girlfriend and I had been driving all day in the mountains and came to Ouarzazate close to nightfall. We were walking around trying to find a place to eat and came across this piece of heaven. The inside is beautifully decorated, very calm, elegant, a nice escape. What's more, the food will blow your mind! You must order the... More

We ate here on the back of Tripadvisor reviews and maybe our expectations were too high. We were the only people there and the atmosphere was unfortunately non-existant. The Moroccan salad starter was very good but the main courses very average. The vegetarian cous cous was virtually tasteless. The rose wine we chose was out of stock and the only... More

The setting is magical. The food was out of this world, flavours and ingredients never tasted before. Service impeccable and the chef stays close by to advise .would definitely return.

We were the only diners and had the choice of several rooms to eat in. We later discovered some other diners arrived after us and chose the roof terrace. The upholstery is very clean, new and sumptuous. It took an hour and a quarter before we received any food. I chose the vegetarian cous cous because I was craving vegetables.... More

Had a lovely lunch on the upper terrace. Beautiful surroundings. Started with mixed mezzes (small appetizers) that were all vegetarian! Delicious. Had a pigeon pastilla (pie) in filo dough sprinkled with powdered sugar and cinnamon and filled with meat, ground almonds, cinnamon, tumeric and sugar. This could have been dessert. These were more than plenty for two. We left sated... More
