The food was horrible and the service was bordering rude (purposely ignoring us because we didn't want to order the set menu but from a non-existing à la carte menu). Their only redeeming feature is that they serve beer and the terrace on the 3rd floor is pleasant. Not a pleasant experience.

Very slow service that borders on rude with bad food. It is also overpriced. The only positives are the setting, which is pleasant but not nearly as nice as the restuarants around the plaza, and the fact they serve beer.

Very pleasant on the top terrace, overlooking the rooftops of the town. Typical Moroccan fare, which was presented well, and tasty. Service by friendly attentive staff.

The food is fine, but doesn't do justice to Moroccan food. Tourists who haven't enjoyed home cooked Moroccan food will likely enjoy Chez Hicham.

Having been rather disappointed by both Aladdin and Hassan, we were hoping for better from Hicham. The view of the floodlit Kasbah is very nice from the terrace. The table was a bit dirty, the waiter was smiling and friendly. We are vegetarian and both had the warm Moroccan salad to start with, as they had no aubergine left. It... More

We stayed two nights in Chefchouen and on the second night we tried out this restaurant after our hotel recommended it. We had starters and a main course for dinner. Ambience on the terrace was great, with a view overlooking the square. The meal was really the highlight of the evening and having travelled in Morocco for the last two... More

After several okay meals near the tourist area, places highly recommended by trip advisor, we finally took our hotel's advice and went to Chez (or Casa) Hicham. Wow! The food is excellent and the staff has been superb. We showed the host our book on Moroccan food and asked if any of the Moroccan specialty dishes were available, even though... More

The first place in Morocco where we were actually given our own teapot instead of just a small cup of tea. The view was beautiful, the restaurant clean, cosy and quiet. The amount of food was more than adequate (they serve three-course meals for 80dh) and apart from the fries the taste was very good. We especially liked the service.... More
