Atmospheric, beautiful exotic decor and delicious food. One of the highlights of my trip to Morocco. I keep dreaming about the tagine I had there - spicy, creamy sauce with loads of vegetables and tender chicken falling off the bone. If I could just have that meal one more time. Best tagine I had in all of Morocco. I'll go... More

The restaurant itself was very comfortable and warm but the food was not very good. My husband had roast chicken and chips which was all luke warm. The chips were awful, soggy and slightly warm which should have all been sent back but my husband ate it as he was hungry! My chicken tagine was hot but tasteless boiled chicken... More

The decor and atmosphere at Casa Hassan is fantastic. The warm fireplace and comfy couches were just what we were looking for after a day of climbing the medina stairs. The food was delicious, especially the meat kebab and the service was great. At $10 USD a plate it's not the cheapest place in town, but it's not bad by... More

Good food, and great service. The location is excellent and the setting is worth it all! Great mint tea and I loved being able to see them prepare the food. I did find the portions a little smaller for such a pricy place. It's so gorgeous and good though, so make sure to go!

I went with my girlfriend after looking it up on tripadvisor. The interior is well worth it. Food was ok but nothing spectacular. Portions were quite small... I had thew Moroccan salad which was very simple and small (chopped onions, tomatos, cucumber). She had the cheese salad which was very nice. For the main course I went for the meat... More

My mother and I spent three days in Chefchaouen and we had our last dinner in the town here. We had quite a good time. The atmosphere is nice, it could be considered touristy, but it is very classy and not overdone. The food was good, I had very good chicken brochettes and the harirra was very well spiced. It... If you are wandering the old medina in the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen around lunch time, keep an eye open for the discreet entrance to Casa Hassan on Rue Targui. Inside the traditional house is the well-known Restaurant Tissemlal. On a cold winters’ day, you can relax on comfortable cushioned bench seating, in a warm atmosphere, often with a... More

We ate here for lunch twice. The bread and olives are great. I recommend ordering Moroccan salads wherever you go in Morocco, diced tomato, onion, cucumber etc. The other salads are average. The set menu was a bit big for lunch, but you can order a la carte. We also recommend La Lamp Magique.

We found this restaurant on the last two nights of our holiday, the best food in Chefchouen. The location is great, with outdoor seating, and the kefta tajine is a treat not to be missed.
