Good quality food, quick and efficient service

Well worth a visit if you're looking for good Moroccan food. Menus are very similar to what you'd find down in the main square, but quality of food is definitely better, and service is almost scarily efficient - they seem to have mastered the art of serving lots of tourists very rapidly. Several options of local dishes, had the soup (Moroccan) was very tasty. They certainly know how to use spices. With a tour group so I don't know if desert is always included, but goat yogurt with honey any nuts was very tasty.

We have been to this restaurant multiple times throughout the years and have always enjoyed it. It has ample seating for large groups--there were 12 of us and we all fit in our own little enclave and enjoyed the privacy. The food is creatively presented and is tasty. The mixed salad and Moroccan salad were both large portions and fresh.... More

We had lunch here and it was very good. It was a nice option from the super touristy restaurants in the main square and the excellent meals we had at Alladin. It was cozy and tasty. All in all, very good!

For 80dh per person (3 course meal) I was served olives, deliciously fresh, dense, homemade bread, a wonderful salad, beef tagine, and a super lemony lemon tart with a moist and crumbly crust. The wait staff was attentive and each plate was cleared and replaced with the next course promptly. After spending 5 days in Choauen this has been my... More

Mediocre food, takes a really long time to arrive. The grilled meat was cold. The salad was disappointing. Kefta tajine was okay.

We had an awful experience with the food. Food poisoning to exact. How does this happen with such bland, tasteless food. We had so many better dining experiences in Morocco including Chez Aziz for dessert in Chefchouen. Also, this restaurant operates heavily on commission. Fellow travelers also told us they were lured into their prix fixe menu only to find... More

We sat in a small, cozy area in the restaurant, with a nice fire going. It was chilly outside so it made our dinner a nice experience. It is a fixed price menu, with 3 courses to meal. Simple, but good food. Grilled chicken was very good. The restaurant is associated with hotel across alley. Steps from center of medina.
