I think this is one of the cheaper places for food, breakfast is good too. Might be the cheapest on the island!

Mostly pretty good, can't really go wrong with your orders... Very friendly and attentive staff. Best value on the island I've tried. Garlic and butter King Fish was pretty special and a fiery Tom Yam soup. Squid was not too fresh though. Most of the food are still expensive when you compare with mainland prices though and the WIFI was... More

Ewan's Cafe is a very good place to eat in Kecil. The food is very tasty (their Kerabu fried rice and Mamak style fried noodles were amazing), the staff very friendly and free Internet provided. We've been to many other places on the island and it's definitely the best food we had in 5 days. And it's cheaper than other... More

We loved the food especially the king fish in coconut and the Perhentian island soup. We also came her several times just for the juice.

Really glad to find Ewan after eating expensive and late food at a nearby hotel. Lovely ambience of dive folks with good Malaysian food. The family restaurant gave us good vibe the first time we stepped in and they were sincere in their hospitality. Free wi-fi!! Too.

Highly recommend Ewan's Cafe, it was the best food we tasted on the island. We have been to Perhentian Kecil twice in 2 years and always eat there. The prices are reasonable, especially the set meals. As we stayed in Ewan's bungalows, we ate most meals at the Cafe. The Asian food is wonderful, especially the dishes in soya sauce,... More

I used to enjoy the trip up over the hill from Long Beach, nice staff, cheap prices, and free wifi. Developed an infatuation for their snickers milkshake.

Once in Perhentian we tried several places and this was one of the best. Great breakfast options and with an affordable price. Just 2 minutes from the beach, half way from both beaches.

They have free wifi here, yay! But don't get the burger, it's more like a sausage (actually, it's so far off from a burger I'm quite sure how to explain it). The drinks are nice and cold, and the noodles were delicious! Doesn't really have a good view of anything, unlike the little spots on the beach.
