Great food for a good price

Loved the food there and the staff is friendly. Good diversity in the menu and is even recomended by locals. It is a bit of a walk from the beach but its certainly worth it.

we ate at Ewan Cafe several times, and each time enjoyed it! - a massive range of food on the menu (even western, which was difficult to come by on the island despite being on every menu) and great drinks (particularly the mixed fruit ice coolers) and (hot lime tea). Strong wifi signal and friendly staff - best place to... More

We had at least one meal every day at Ewans. The Malay food is great. Didn't try the European dishes. Only little downside is that they don't serve rice in the morning. Overal a good place I definitely recommend.

Divers at Angel's always recommend to eat and hang out here. they serve western food also. but my local tongue definitely go for their meehon tomyam, spicy good. you can order jug of water if want to save cost on drinks. they also got small shop beside them that selling cigarettes and ice cream and few other necessities.

I read so many great reviews that it was one of the first places I went to check. The price is very good, but in Long Beach you can find quite similar prices in Danielle's place [?] and around. And honestly, if you have a chance to go to the FIshermans village, there you can find very very good prices... More

I've been to Perhentian Kecil about 5 times from March 2014. But it was my first time visiting Ewan's in September when I was there recently. Thought it would be just normal food - but it turned out to be better than expected. Price is very reasonable for a restaurant on Perhentian Islands.

I strongly recommend fisherman's soup. The original recipe is not spicy but I specifically request them to make it spicy and turned out it worth every penny! Also some barracuda dishes.
