The food - the ingredients were fresh, portions generous and most importantly tasted incredible. The service - impeccable. The manager and the wait staff were always friendly and would come to the table for quick chats to check up on how we were doing. Water was topped up so frequently it was never less than half full. The atmosphere -... More

Limited choice of menu but food is excellent. Food is cooked with passion and great care. Awesome waiters. Uncle Lim makes personal visit to every table to enquire if we are enjoying our food and if we would like anything else. Thumbs up!

Situated on the water in a tree with a massive rock in the middle of the floor, this restaurant was our favourite. Uncle Lim, although retired, popped in to check up on the staff and standards. The food was delicious and staff were so well trained.

Perfect Ambience & food was great. My wife is very choosy about her food. The manager took a good 15 minutes to understand what she wanted and exceeded her expectations. Limited items on the menu & prices were exorbitant :(

Brilliant!! Ate here four times and we were made to feel so special - food is out of this world! A la carte, nonya style, cooked by a chef in his 80's - thanks uncle!

There are better resaurants, like fisherman's cove and Chapman's bar. This is a fairly standard Chinese restaurant, and there are lots of kids running around at dinner time

The food at uncle's lim kitchen is good, decent portion. Would recommend to first-timer for chinese food. Its at sea side, but the place is rather hot, and a lot mosquitoes at night. Earlier reservation is highly recommended as the place is very popular.

Chinese food with little fuss ... but the dishes were tasty and delicious. It felt very 'home cooked' - nothing fancy. The 'chap chai' vegetable dish is a must try and the prawns in a sweet sour sauce were very good. Pricing is steep though so be prepared to spend quite a bit for 'simple' food.

We are happy that Uncle Lim's kitchen service vegetarian food (menu). Nice view overlooking seaview. One thing to highligh that the price on the vegetarian menu were different between Dining Conceirge & restaurant.
