Nice Chinese restaurant

Very difficult to get a table, we had to book 2 days before. They celebrated Chinese new year, so that could be the answer! We ordered 5 dishes, and split between 7 persons, and that was food enough for all. Very nice dishes, and service was also above normal standard. Wine list ok, with fair... read more

We had dinner @ Uncle Lim's Kitchen twice over 3 nights & each visit left us totally satiated. Every dish was rich in flavour & high on quality -- and we were told that this standard has not dropped since the kitchen opened in the early days. The restaurant proves to be very popular with guests - not only for... More

Very popular hence need to book in advance . We went with the recommendation and were not disappointed.. Large portions evan though we ordered medium not large.. After a shared starter we ordered two mains and one side and we had to send a lot back , which was a shame as it was excellent food . This place is... More

Uncle Lim was the first employee on Pangkor Laut. Now in his 80's he still supervises all the cooking and circulates in the restaurant to check that all the diners are happy. Delicious, Chinese dishes will satisfy the foodie and those with a healthy appetite. Great atmosphere and a special attraction of the resort.

We enjoyed the excellent food. Should come early for dinner to see the view as restaurant is overlooking the sea. Need a reservation. However, the mosquitoes were annoying but the restaurant provides insect repellent.

Be sure to book a table at this restaurant early if you can as it's normally fully booked, especially the earlier slot at 7.30pm.

They required reservation and yet there was a lot of empty tables when we're told it was fully booked. Food and service were great! But the price is much higher than any place else in the country. A plate of fried broccoli with garlic cost RM80.

Uncle Lim's is a fantastic restaurant on Pangkor Laut Resort. The service is magnificent, the dishes we ordered (a chicken dish and also "sizzling beef" with fried rice were perfect. The venue overlooking the sea -well, how could THAT be improved upon? Just not possible. Like the resort itself, everything about the restaurant is 5*.
