It was famous for seafood culinary in Vung Tau for more than 30 years ago. Good food is the only thing could be expected. Cramped place with full of people during meals time. Pricey as their reputation raised up in many years. Anyway I still love their deep fried baby oysters dish, so delicious!

Cay Bang is undoubtedly the restaurant find of Vung Tau. You wont find a lot of tourists here because its not in the heart of the tourist drag but if your idea of an overseas holiday involves trying the local foods then then this is the place. It is right on the edge of the water alongside Tran Phu Street,... More

A very busy Sunday lunch, full of locals. The dining room is covered but opened to the sea. Our table is located on the right side facing the sea. We enjoyed the view on the sea and the the beach. Surpringly the beach on the side is clean despite only local people seem to be around. The food is good,... More

After reading loads of reviews we tried this for lunch today, veering away from the usual lam tong at the other end of the strip. On the upside my partners prawns were incredible and the wine was surprisingly cheap although trying to explain that we wanted wine was tough. The atmosphere is lowsy unless you, by chance, go when it's... More

we went to Ganh Hao for dinner in our Last trip to VUng Tau, and ended up being not happy at all. Service was bad ( it was a busy restaurant at the time we came), the fish and crabs we ordered wasnt fresh, it was like from the freezer cause inside the fish, it was not cooked properly. This... More

I'm not sure whether there has been a change in management/ownership, but this is not the restaurant that I've been frequenting for the last couple of decades..quality of seafood is average, prices have shot up..service is shoddy..I'm very upset as I really don't know where to go now for family style seafood in Vung Tau

Becareful with the prices, they dont put them on the menu. With rice costing VND110,000 and a small fish for 3 people costing VND449,000, plus drinks!!, our bill came to VND650,000 which wasnt really worth the money to be honest.

This is favorite Seafood destination for our group in Vung Tau. A busy water front restauarant mainly frequented by locals, hanging out over the water giving a very nice aspect and still small enough so you don't feel you are in a factory like the Gan Hau back down the road. The lead Waiter speaks very good English as do... More

While i am loath to write reviews when I have visited somewhere once this was so average I felt it needs tt be said. The astheics of the place is lovely right on the beach but the service was so bad we got the wrong drinks and the wrong meal. The Beef Salad was so bad my husband who eats... More

I prefer Cay Bang over its competitors nearby mainly due to the simplicity of the food preparation, its local, family ambience, and the terrific value for money one gets here..the seafood is extremely fresh, so its best served as simply as possible: steamed or grilled..I'm particularly partial to the sea bass, flower crabs, grilled squid (muc mot nang nuong) and...
