great breakfast, great view, English language menu

Good place to sit and relax and watch the world go by. It is relatively expensive as are many of the places on the sea front, but if you want a 'break' from Vietnamese local food and to splash out on western style menu you can get a great breakfast, anything from omelettes to pancakes, excellent... read more

Pick it: Attentive staff, whatever you want in food, 333, sensational pricing, close to everything. Both Day and night 'til 10'ish maybe 11.

This place had some mixed reviews in the past, but having used Bayview for many years now, it's a great place to meet all nationalities. The food range is a combination of Western & Vietnamese food with a wonderful selection to choose from in the menu. The staff are friendly, it's a great place to meet travellers from other parts... Good sandwiches and lots of variety. Clean and pleasant staff. Was looking for a place that offered good food with minimal fuss. This was a good choice.

Lots of variety in the menu. Love the crabcakes, rissoles and shepherd's pie. Food always comes in fresh so it takes quite a while to be served. Portions are quite big and can definitely be shared. Prices are therefore reasonable.

Very good for a 'maintenance' meal if you've been in Vietnam for a while. He puts on a roast dinner every Sunday night which is always good especially if it's lamb night. Can even get a good Aussie meat pie or a pastie there. Its popular with the expats for an Aussie breakfast.

I have been a regular here on my frequent visits to Vung Tau. The big Aussie breakfast is hard to beat, anywhere in the world and not just in Vung Tau or Viet Nam. The freshly made won tons in the won ton soup for 60,000 vnd is a winner! I was also a regular Sunday diner for their Roast... More

We found the Bayview just two days before we left Vung Tau, which is too bad because it was better than the place that we had been eating breakfast at before. For about 110,000 VND, you get eggs, meat and coffee/tea, plus your choice of any or all of a selection of sides - toast, tomatoes, mushrooms, bubble & squeak... More

Best breakfast (wonton soup) and Sunday roasts. A very extensive menu from which to choose and am only part the way through. Australian and Vietnamese available. My 1st stop on arrival in Vung Tau.
