Went here under the recommendation of a few friends. It was busy, but not packed, but the service was extremely slow, with orders for drinks having to be requested several times. Waitresses were friendly when they appeared, but a lot of time was spent trying to get their attention, with no initiative on their part to check on tables. The... More

Good fresh Veggie Pizza. Also had Grill Burrata.... Would recommend others to do visit - Have food while watching fishing boats and cargo ships passing around South China Sea.

Perhaps I've been living in Asia too long, but I would rate David's as some of the best Italian I have ever had (far exceeding anything I have had in Italy!). I was recently in VT, and both for business and pleasure managed to eat at David's 4 times in a week, which really is excessive. Each time I ate... More

Great place for Italian food. Pizza are thin crust and cooked in brick oven. Usually end up taking one away for a late night snack or breakfast. House wine is good. Really cannot say anything bad about the items on the menu. Do try the Pork Shin, as enough for 2. Sit outside as usually have a good breeze coming... More

The atmosphere is relaxed and accommodating. The food is good, and I suspect exceptional for Italian food in Vung Tau, but by U.S. standards for Italian food, just average. However, most telling is the fact that we ate at David Pizzeria twice during the week we spent in Vung Tau and were satisfied both times.

Ignore all the glowing reviews. Real talk time. The only thing David's has going for it is that it's a nice restaurant that's been in Vung Tau long enough to build up a clientele that wouldn't know a good pizza if it bit them in the face. The pizza is greasy, the cheese leaves a nasty aftertaste in your mouth,... More

I love this place. Everytime I go to Van Tau I make sure I eat there. It is so enjoyable. Pricey but worth it. I enjoy the terrasse very much. I went there alone and with friends. A great place

I'm not a great pizza lover but, This has changed me. Without doubt the tastiest pizza I have ever had. What a great menu. Seven of us ate here yesterday. All different meals all served at the same time. So we were able to steal of each other lol. And every meal was so nice. So I can recommend this... More

This restaurant is well known inside the Italian community of Saigon and I had high expectations when I visited (twice). Unfortunately the Italian owner wasn't there that day, still I enjoyed both lunch and dinner. Only one minor complaint: the amount of "porcini" on the pizza was below perception. Ask for a double or triple porcini topping... I will next... More
