Great home made ice cream, friendly owner

We were biking around Vung Tau and stopped for some cool drinks and ice cream while we considered riding the cable cars. We decided against riding the cable cars (overpriced, at 15 USD/10 mins/passenger) and instead sat and talked to the young Turkish guy running the place. He spoke excellent... read more

Sometimes when you are travelling in a strange counry, you just need some familiar food. This resaurant in the heart of Front Beach offers that! Yummy.

A selection of about 12 flavours of ice creams. We tried the Passionfruit, Vanilla, Strawberry and Green Tea. Cheap enough but not real strong flavours. A nice little seating area by the cable car makes it a pleasant place to sit.

Very very expensive for tiny dishes. There are much better places to eat in vung tau. Avoid this crappy place like the plague

This was a cheap and cheerful roadside eatery right in front of the cablecar. Tables and chairs provided with efficient and friendly service from the owners. Cheap kebabs at 25VD and cheap scoop incecreams at 25VD for a double scoop. We ate here frequently and enjoyed the people watching provided for free.

Food was okay, service was poor. Other customers were smoking inside the small restaurant (about 30 sq.m). Can't really recommend, although food wasn't bad.

This place is cheap and good. Not very nice inside though! Always come back every time in VT. I ordered 2 curries , 3 breads, 2 order of Samosa and a large bottle of water and the bill was only $9.00.

Served upside down, the amiable young Turkish proprietor eagerly hands you your cone in a small plastic cup. The flavors are posted in Vietnamese, but the guy can rattle off the flavors in English. There are eight flavors available. Plenty of seating scattered about this tiny ice cream shop. Alibaba's is a locals' favorite.
