Surely the best place in Sukhothai to enjoy an evening. But food ranges between good and bad. Prices are decent for the region. Some staff friendly, some stressed. Service is a bit slow. Food needs long time to arrive. But overall a good place be

I don't find many choices in sukhothai. Maybe that's a good one. I love the dining tables and chairs. They have a great smell of old woods. Of course the museum-like decoration is another highlight. I travel solo so I ordered just one Tom Yum Kung. Can't say much about the food based on one dish. But the soup is... More

The interior of the building is really fascinating in traditional wooden Thai style, lots of different cozy little rooms filled with interesting bits and pieces, very atmospheric. The service was pretty ordinary/disinterested even though the place was almost empty, we had to ask for menus and ask to get a drink. We had 2 dishes which were great - a... More

The food is alright, but nothing outstanding in my opinion. You can get better food on any night market. The staff was a little odd and unmotivated- They barely looked at you and just tossed the menu on the table walking by. It feeld like the place had gotten a little bit too much attention lately and there's no need... More

The menu is interesting but the food is not particularly special and the staff were disinterested. New Sukothai town centre is deserted in the evening and we were given no help or advice to find a way of getting back to our hotel.

The atmosphere at the Dream Cafe was excellent, but the food was extremely bland and the staff was unfriendly. The potatoes in my curry were ice cold in the center (as if they had been frozen) and my friends curry dish hardly had any flavor to it. I must also note that the portions were small for the price. If... More

Sukhothai is not the place to go for a gastronomical treat but it would appear that Dream Cafe offers the best eating experience. We chose several different dishes between us and all were good. They had a small but adequate wine selection and the atmosphete was pleasant as the restaurant consists of a series of rooms filled with antiques and... More

For some reason the gastronomic experience in Sukhothai was not great. The most interesting dished we ate were at the Dream Cafe. The fact that the portions were small was not minimally an issue for us. Usually high quality and small portions go hand in hand. The banana fritters for dessert were superb. The ambience was beautiful. We appreciated all... More

For a change of pace spend an evening here. Wonderful Thai food (along with a good selection of western dishes) are served in rooms decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and curiosa. Only downside - service was quite slow when we were there.
