We were told by our hotel this was a good place to eat. We placed our order with a waitress that made no eye contact, did not smile, and acted like it was a chore to take the order. The restaurant was not busy only two other tables occupied. After waiting for 45 minutes and no food and no acknowledgment... More

We first dined at Dream Café more than a decade ago and have always enjoyed eating there with each visit to Sukhothai. The design and atmosphere is really special for a small upcountry Thai town like Sukhothai. With all sorts of little nooks and crannies in which to sit, it is also eclectic and filled with old Sukhothai antiques. Even... More

I liked the food here, probably the closest to fine dining in sukhothai. It is an unusual place to say the least. The prices are high for sukhothai so you will only see thais in here on special occasions. Mainly it is for tourists.

Visited New Sukhothai so decided to have a change from the food stalls and tourist restaurants around the historical sites. We were four friends, each with quite different food preferences. We all got something that satisfied our individual tastes though for sure this is not the place for authentic Thai food. The decor is 'different', and the service not as... More

One of the most expensive places I've visited and I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the vegetable fried rice, it was tasteless. Had better for a 5th of the price at a service station. Ended up spending 3X the amount I would on a very disappointing meal. However the fresh spring rolls were delicious.

There are so many other nice restaurants in Sukhothai. This one is just plane weird! It is decorated like some sort of old museum (but not Thai or Asian). We went here for dinner and were the only 2 people in the restaurant but the service was still super slow. The waitress was very odd and dismissive. She barely spoke... More

Surely the best place in Sukhothai to enjoy an evening. But food ranges between good and bad. Prices are decent for the region. Some staff friendly, some stressed. Service is a bit slow. Food needs long time to arrive. But overall a good place be

I don't find many choices in sukhothai. Maybe that's a good one. I love the dining tables and chairs. They have a great smell of old woods. Of course the museum-like decoration is another highlight. I travel solo so I ordered just one Tom Yum Kung. Can't say much about the food based on one dish. But the soup is... More

The interior of the building is really fascinating in traditional wooden Thai style, lots of different cozy little rooms filled with interesting bits and pieces, very atmospheric. The service was pretty ordinary/disinterested even though the place was almost empty, we had to ask for menus and ask to get a drink. We had 2 dishes which were great - a... More
