Poo restaurant is located in the main tourist area in sukhothai. It has a few pages in the menu, there are a lot of options to choose from. I had the massaman curry, I wasn't too happy with that choice. It seemed like they just didn't care. The curry was watery and bland. I know some thai people assume foreigners... More

This is a nice little restaurant in Sukhothai with fairly authentic Thai food and it was VERY cheap. I think my dinner was 50 Baht and my boyfriend's was 80 Baht. Even if the food was bad you can't really go wrong with that price! :-) But the food was good. The restaurant also has an open storefront so you... More

Friends recommended this place so I was disappointed that my dinner was no better than what I could get a 7-11. Staff had a bit of attitude and barely knew how to serve my Lipton tea, and the free wifi was very intermittent. I would not recommend eating here.

Good, but average, Thai food, at reasonable prices. Some western dishes too (popular for families). Helpful staff. The real reason to go to Poo are the special Belgian beers though (120 to 220 baht). They have orval, maredsous, leffe, kasteelbier, kriek, hoegaarden, blanche de namur, deliri tremens, kwak, karmeliet, ... !

We only had drinks here. But who can fault a bar that serves Belgian beers in Thailand. Ample supply of Orval and Pauwel Kwak, that have become difficult to find in Europe. Any CAMRA or PINT member who's in the region should definitely visit!

Great atmosphere at poo restaurant! Loved my giant noodles with black sauce and my friend her chicken with cashew nuts and pineapple :) + wonderful cocktails. Additionally we were able to watch the footie and had a really awesome chilled out time!

We were roaming around hungrily at 7am, looking for a decent breakfast, and this was one of the few places open - despite being empty, and the waitress greeting us fresh from a shower, we were welcomed and served preyy much anything from the full menu - coffee, fruit cocktails, fried noodles. It is quite a noisy and dusty place,... More
