Our previous visit here was in Feb 2014. On this visit the food, service, price and atmosphere were still excellent. Although little English is spoken they do have a English language menu which makes ordering much easier if you're not with a Thai speaker. Try to get a table upstairs on the deck.

Aroy 1 baht is located close to the Riverside guesthouse and is a local restaurant frequented by many locals and a few tourists. It is cheap and the quality of the food is good. If you sit downstairs you can see the kitchen team prepare the dishes. The service was very fast and one of the waitresses spoke decent english.

picked up this restaurant from the tripadvisor-map and found it easy. i visited this place in a rush hour time so had actually to wait 5 minutes for a table. mostly Thai customers, few farangs. the food was tasty and as the name of the restaurant says, rather cheap. service is ok but english conversation can be difficult.

The food is good, this is the real Thai taste. A good variety and good prices. There is one dish that really only costs 1 baht: a bowl of boiled rice ... Price is 'normal', quantity is 'less than you expect' In the kitchen are many people working and the owner manages all the orderings. It was amazing how fast... More

It's super cheepy! Really big menu of incredibly cheap Thai food cooked in the most frantically well coordinated kitchen I've ever seen. It's like a piece of theatre to watch. It is however a place for locals, don't expect any airs or graces here just just write your order down and wait 60 seconds!

The restaurant is in an old timber 2 storey house, interesting building. The food is good for the price, normally 1 dish is 30 baht, the service is great and the food is delivered fast. Worth a visit if after a budget meal. Located here..18.289714,99.496133

Really good local Thai food, fast and friendly service, great atmosphere, local crowd but had waiter who took our order in English. If you traveled to Lampang to have a Thai experience, this is the kind of place for you. We enjoyed our two visits here on the weekend we spent in Lampang.

We went there following Lonely Planet advice, they were right , the report there can be 100% certified. In short, one of the best Thai restaurants we tried, truly authentic, good service, very cheap and extremely good, crowded by locals which tells you about it.

This place is popular and has a good atmosphere and nice outdoor seating. The service is fast and the food is pretty cheap (not one baht though). However, the taste leaves much to be desired. The fried morning glory is tasty but the other five dishes the four of us ordered were so-so to downright bad.
