Really good local Thai food, fast and friendly service, great atmosphere, local crowd but had waiter who took our order in English. If you traveled to Lampang to have a Thai experience, this is the kind of place for you. We enjoyed our two visits here on the weekend we spent in Lampang.

We went there following Lonely Planet advice, they were right , the report there can be 100% certified. In short, one of the best Thai restaurants we tried, truly authentic, good service, very cheap and extremely good, crowded by locals which tells you about it.

This place is popular and has a good atmosphere and nice outdoor seating. The service is fast and the food is pretty cheap (not one baht though). However, the taste leaves much to be desired. The fried morning glory is tasty but the other five dishes the four of us ordered were so-so to downright bad.

I'd heard that this was the place to eat in Lampang, but I was pretty disappointed in the quality of the food. The fried cauliflower was soggy, like it'd been sitting around for a while. The fried morning glory was fresh and tasty, but that was the best thing I tried of the 6 or so dishes our party ordered.... More

Great food with menus available in Thai and English. Staff are very friendly, though their English is limited (as was my Thai!). We ate here many many times and the food was always good.

The guide books will tell you, quite correctly, that this restaurant is cheap, crowded every evening and that the service is quick. I have visited four times since November and remain somewhat mystified why so many local people turn up every evening. At face value, the menu has a lot of unusual and intriguing choices, eg, minced pork stir fried... More

We stayed at the Pin Hotel in Lampang and when we asked about a place to eat they recommended the Aroy One Bhat, which is located a few minutes walk from the hotel. They open at 4 pm until midnight. Excellent Thai food, fast service and quite reasonable prices. They have a menu in English so no problem for a... More

The fastest service, the most reasonably priced menu and the yummiest food. Famous for a reason, check it out.

Full of locals, a lively atmosphere whatever time you go. I went alone and didn't feel out of place at all, despite being the only foreigner there. Best to order small dishes and add along as ou go. The dishes are brought to your table very quickly and a writing pad and on are provided for you to select your... More
