This was recommended to me by the locals. And it exceed my expectation I went back again the next day. Get the Tom Kha Gai and stir fried pork with Krapi (authentic stuff)

We first stumbled upon this restaurant by accident because it is not next to frequently used roads like other restaurants. It is located right next to ananda villa, turn left from the lomprayah pier and keep on walking past planet scuba and the safety stop cafe, you'll find it on your right hand. The restaurant offers good food (not excellent... More

Get the Green Curry, Papaya Salad and No Name Chicken. Authentic, rustic, with friendly service and heaps of vegetables in the curry. I also saw a lot of westerners eating westerner style breakfasts.

Easily amongst the best food anywhere on the island. The food is genuinely authentic and very very reasonably priced. It is close the main pier, but is tucked away so you would have to look for it rather than stumble upon it. The restaurant is very clean and has a great atmosphere. If you have your evening meal, you can... More

Ate here 4 out of my 5 nights stay on koh Tao. The menu had a wide variety of foods both western and Thai. I ate Thai food each night and every dish was delicious! On average each dish cost around £1.80-2.50 and drinks were also cheap. I never paid more than £4 for a meal. The food came quick... More

During my stay in Koh tao I have ate here quite a few times. The service is very quick and the prices are reasonable and the food is delish! The pad thai chicken was to die for. Would highly recommend it!

Had a simple meal at Pranee's of garlic pepper chicken- was delicious. My bf had the Thai basil chicken which was also lovely. Service was quick. Really weird films on but was a good evening nevertheless!! Would recommend

Heading says it all. Food is very good and served within minutes after ordering. There is one part of the restaurant where patrons sit on some kind of mattress on the floor, which is a quite nice experience - feels like you're dining in your living room. In the evening they play english movies.

We visited this restaurant whilst we were diving on Koh Tao and it had the best Thai red curry I've had in Thailand. Really nice inside and not too loud either. Definitely recommend visiting.

Pranee's is 1 minute to the pier where you can have good thai food. If you go there at dinner time, you can also watch a movie or two. The tv is small though. It is one of the fewest restaurants which shows movies at dinner time. The first movie starts about 6pm. As soon as it finishes, they show the... More
