The marlin is exceptional in its food both traditional Thai and western and the service impeccable. If you come to Outrigger make this the main place for your meals, it won't disappoint

We tried Thai dishes one night, it was not good. Spring rolls, curries, fish, pad thai, tong yin gon, none were good, we wondered if it was a Thai chef in the kitchen. We liked the Thai restaurant on the hill. But the staffs were friendly though

The dishes, including international ones, are cooked wihout care and seem tasteless. It is recomended to eat in one of the various restaurants located in a village located just behind the hotel, such as Mint - in my family's and mine opinion - and Buffalo Head.

Had a good red duck curry with lychees and pineapple after checking in at the outrigger... It was really tasty! Had good banana shakes and that was good too. A bit expensive though... There are really good places behind the hotel in the village that taste really good and are really cheap!

We went there for a quick lunch and had sandwiches. I wasn't impressed with the club sandwich and the beef sandwich was ok. The portions were rather small and I would have expected a lot more for the price we paid. The Mango shake was very watery and came in a small glass. Service was lacking as we had to... More

This was our favourite restaurant while staying at Outrigger, you have a choice of western and thai menu which is great for a change in the evenings. We ordered from both and all dishes were great. (Thai food wasn't as spicy as "Traditional" thai food usually is - could have done with more spice ;) But otherwise great. Also nice... More

The menu at the restaurant is exhaustive because it is a part of a 4 star resort property but the food is expensive and the taxes they charge is simply outrageous. The taste is good but definitely there is a scope for improvement. One more thing I would like to mention here is the attitude of the restaurant staff is... More

We had lunch there and though the food was pricey, it was tasty and filling. We tried slow roasted duck and it was full of flavour, tender and remainded of home cooked Sunday roast. The staff if very attentive, but not intrusive.

Like some other reviewers we thought the food was average and overpriced, and the staff inattentive. We ended up eating mostly in the friendly little village just a few metres walk up the path by the restaurant, where there are many nicer and cheaper local places to choose from.
