Tasty food, especially if you're craving some Western food after heaps of pad Thai and a few too many bowls of curry. Fun, chilled atmosphere, friendly staff, and you can play pool.

Literally like walking into your local back home! Had an awesome meal of freshly made chilli con carne a bacon double cheese burger and homemade potato salad (posted a picture of the meal on here too) met the owner and his dog too (yup there's even a pub dog!!). If your around the island been travelling for a while and... More

Proper homely, British food with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The pub looks great and was easy to find.

Wish we were back! This place is fantastic, excellent drink, excellent company, excellent facilities and out of this world top notch grub! We arrived 'fresh off the boat' backpacks heavy as, hot, sweaty and tired. We opened those doors and it was like heaven, air-con on, smiling faces, an ice cold beer and plate of grub to be had. After... More

Came here twice and it's so surreal having an English pub right in the middle of nowhere in Thailand! Service was good and good was pretty good, the breakfast was good however the second time I had scampi and chips which wasn't great - it was really burnt so they said I could have it for free which was nice!... Maybe Dr Who has hidden one of his time travelling teleporter thingies here because walking through the doors is like stepping into an actual English pub. Authentic decor, food and ales. A welcome departure for those who've been travelling Asia for a while and are wanting something a little different from Pad Thai and drunken teenagers. Enjoyable.

After 2 months in Sri Lanka we were hankering for a traditional roast dinner. Although low season and also the coup effects still in place it was surprising that we were the only guests for dinner apart from some Thai friends of the staff. Beer was expensive and the roast dinner was barely acceptable but did have a big range... More

I dined in this restaurant for my boyfriend's birthday (June 28th) and it was my first time. I feel like I owe this restaurant a good review, thus voila. I am from Jakarta and we have the same restaurant type/concept (English pub) there. I love the interior especially the exterior, it feels like you are in a proper English pub.... More

Excellent pub, air conditioned, pool, good beer, owner is a great chap. Im sure his dog is no longer a puppy but ask to say hello, it may remove some of your misconceptions about this beautiful breed! Great place to drink and chat, highly recommend this place. check it out.

I always make a trip to the Mason's every time I come to Phangan (I have been coming since 2008) and it always seems to get better every time, so much so I thought I'd write a review to congratulate the owners on a job well done. I was on the island for my birthday with my girlfriend so I... More
