We spent days looking for good authentic thai food on islands and finally found it at Jang's. Not only is the food fresh and fantastic, the staff are very friendly. Can't wait to come back. Chris & Ha (Adelaide)

The Pirare bar is in prime position on beautiful Haad Salad Beach. Although the restaurant is temporarily not open, we were caught in a storm and were fortunate enough to have a meal cooked by Jang. It was beautiful! We look forward to visiting next time when the kitchen is fully open. Service at the bar is top notch with... More

Jing's Kitchen is located beside the road between Haad Yao and Haad Salad and is a tiny piece of loveliness with just a few tables cared for by amazing Jing who will also fix your bike, organise your laundry or find you accommodation and transport if you need it. It is Thailand as many dream of it - clean, tasty... More

Should've read the reviews before coming here - my buddy and I made the mistake of ordering two meals. You could EASILY split one. The portions are HUGE! I was going to ding this place on the price until our food came and realized that prices are 2x higher than traditional Thai restaurants because you receive 2x the food. The... More

We ended up at this restaurant and didn't really expect much. It looked good and there were other people which made it seem like a good place to sit down to fill our hungry stomach (after 24 hours of travel). It turned out to be am excellent choice. The food was very good, but the portions were simply huge. We... More

This restaurant is only open in the evening as during the day it serves as a cookery school. We had a table which was set out on the beach with the water almost lapping at our feet. Lovely atmosphere, with pretty lights and laid back music. The food was excellent, and came in huge portions. I would recommend a starter... More

Jang spent all afternoon patiently cooking with us (including our ten year old daughter), and then we ate on the beach as the sunset. Perfect.

The food is a step up from normal Thai food and the menu is a good reflection of the creativity of the owners. They ran a successful restaurant in OZ before packing up for paradise. The location is one of the best on the beach and atmosphere is one of the best in the area. For a sure bet on... More

Ate here 2 out of 3 nights in Haad Salad. Portions are huge, little bit more expensive than others on the beach but well worth it for the quality and freshness of the ingredients used. The menu is different from the usual green curry fodder that everywhere else is knocking out. Nice setting. Will be back.

We had an amazing time cooking 6 of our favorite thai dishes with Jang. She is thorough, lovely and the food we prepared under her instruction is the best I have had in Thailand! This is an excellent way to spend a day inside, great value and make sure you are hungry! Thanks Jang!
