Great location!

Lovely location sat on a hill, restaurant built into the trees made out of bamboo. The staff are really friendly. Great fruit shakes and cocktail list. Good selection of meat, seafood and vegetarian food :) visited the restaurant a few times while on the island for a week

Food is slightly more varied and slightly higher quality than the normal standard. Spring rolls are deep fried from frozen unfortunately. Nice curries and noodle soups. Staff are outright hostile to customers.

We loved this place ate there every day. Family was lively who ran the place. Cocktails delicious and all reasonably priced. Go enjoy!

I had dinner at Big Mountain with my wife yesterday. Beef with basil and chili tasted funny and resulted in a bad belly. Fruit shakes were good. Prawns were not cleaned properly. I would avoid this place at all costs. The atmosphere is nice but there are way better options to eat.

I couldn't choose between 3 and 4 to rate this restaurant. From one hand, they are different what makes this place unique. Since we stayed right next to the restaurant for a couple of weeks we had food there at least 2 times. First time we came for lunch, had a burger, massaman curry and some garlic bread with cheese.... We rode our scooters to big mountain everyday for lunch it was that good. We couldn't get enough of their food and the price was fantastic. I recommend the coconut soup!

I have tried all their currys a million times. I still cannot chose which one i prefer. The vegan cabbage rolls are also a must try!

The first thing I liked is the family-run kitchen Big Mountain has. Then the waiter was super friendly and managed to speak some spanish and great portuguese. They make local tasting Thai food and as a dessert we had an amazing home-made passionfruit pie. Whenever in Koh Lanta, go to Big Mountain, you will not regret it!

A great hangout with tasty local cuisines.Thai family atmosphere, easy going staff, nice portions, and their own little bakery produces amazing european style bread and buns. .Adored by the health conscious vegetarian Yoga crowd and the hungry traveller alike.
