I guess the people that have come here really missed chips and other Irish pub food on their travels. They have a half dozen TVs tuned to English sports so this is probably the best place to come to catch a game at 2am, but the booze wasn't that cheap and the food wasn't impressive.

I visited Co Lanta with a friend and came across the Irish Embassy pub in which we had some amazing nights. The food was fantastic with a real homely feel and the 3 managers and their staff couldn't do enough for us. The music was as good as any bar I have experienced back home in England and there was... I paid my 2nd trip to the island at the start of the month & made sure I paid the Irish another visit. It's doubled in size since last time & this has made an obvious improvement to what was already a great bar. The food is very good & reasonably priced. There are several big screen TVs constantly playing... More

My wife and I went to the Irish Embassy for dinner and were not disappointed. She had the fish and chips and I had the bacon wrapped stuffed chicken breast. We have both been to Irish pubs all over the world (including Ireland) and really enjoyed the simplicity of the meals. The fish and chips were cooked beautifully and came... More

After the chaos of the Thai New Year, I chose to come to Ko Lanta for a bit of a chill. Stopped by the Irish in need of recovery, and some comfort food after plenty of Thai fare during the celebrations. Didn't know where to start as these guys have it all. Burgers, Sausages, Wraps you name it. Opted for... More
