If you like food like we do, and you're done with the fairly small Thai portions, go to this place. We both ordered a beef burger (huge slab of amazing meat on a delicious bun) and struggled to finish the side dish. After we were done, we almost fell asleep. The service is great, the food amazing and the atmosphere... More

We had not planned on visiting any Irish bars while we were in Thailand, but then came St. Patrick's Day. By luck, we stumbled upon this fun little place just before noon on the big day, and it was already hopping. By the time we left a pint or two later, the place was packed! The owner clearly is well... More

Where do I start with the Irish Embassey? Unbelievable food, (best gravy ever!), awesome drinks and we finally found cold shots of jäger! We have been struggling to find a place with great service and this place by far has the best. The servers are always attentive and you never have an empty drink in front of you. The owner... More

I originally planned on staying for two nights on Lanta but after finding the Irish Embassy I stayed an additional six nights and wish I could have stayed longer. The owners, staff, food and drink were all exceptional. It has a mix of expats and people passing through, great sports coverage and as I was a solo traveller I was... More

After a week or so of rice or noodle dishes own up, you're longing for some comfort food? A Sunday lunch, sausage and mash maybe? Look no further. This place delivers the works and the best ham, egg and chips you'll find on Lanta - or probably anywhere else in Thailand. (Two eggs by the way - portions are generous... More
