Stumbled on this great little place and had a fantastic evening meal. We loved it so much we went back for breakfast and another evening meal. Wonderful food (I don't think I've ever had such a tasty pasta dish), amazing dessert and good wine all perfectly prepared by Ben the chef and his lovely staff. Great atmosphere too made for... More

Love their cooking especially salad and steak. They also have great crepe with homemade weaping cream. My boyfriend who is French also suggests this. Lovely small shop with pastis as an appetizer. We live on Lanta almost 8 years and recommend this place

We were stuck in the rain so we ran into Shanti Shanti for some desert! We had caramelised banana and nutella crepe's. They were delicious. The French man who owns this place was friendly and attentive. The other staff were smiling and helpful.

On the main road through Klong Nin, this chilled out wooden shack is supercool. Quirky interior with an eclectic mix of furniture and furnishings. We has ice cream here three times, chai tea, pistachio praline. By far the best ice cream I have eaten in my life. Super creamy sweet and totally decadent. Limited menu with two western salads, one... More

Wow the muesli is by far the best on the island and a huge serve with around 12 different varieties of fruit on top! So good I had it two days in a row! The western coffee is as good as you will get on the island and the owner takes great pride in making it perfect for you, the... More

What a wonderful little find. We were walking down the road and saw a sign for accommodation. As we are on a budget this was great for us. Our expectations were low (as was our budget) but we have found a hidden gem. The finishing touches in the room are great. All rooms have a mosquito net, the bathroom is... More

Have come here several times already during our stay -- Shanti Shanti serves the best western food I've had in Thailand (and I've been living here almost a year). The staff are also so friendly and it's a nice cosy place to hide from the sun. It's low season menu right now but still everything is delightful. The tomato mozzarella... More

We went back here three times during our stay, most especially for the fantastic coffee and desert. The owner shows a passion for food and attention to detail. You'll love the charm of this tiny space, beautifully adorned to keep you entertained as you tuck into a mini French feast.

It feels like you have just walked into your favourite coffee shoppe in the middle of Paris! Playing cool music, illy coffee, fresh croissants, made to order crepes, huge fruit Bircher muesli and extremely helpful welcoming staff. One of my faves on lanta :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Shanti Shanti. Really beautiful, well designed bungalows at an affordable price. Good location, quiet and amazing breakfast with their famous muslei, French crepes, good filter coffee and ginger lemon honey tea mmmmm the hosts were really nice and informative. Was a pleasure to stay here. Thank you
