I really liked this restarunt. The food is really good and the desserts even better. Their pancakes are very very very good. After discovering this restaurant I had really difficulties to pass this restaurant without going in and get dessert... This is really worth a visit.

Although this was a perfect little slice of France in an exotic setting I paid 10 baht for an average slice of chocolate brownie. The cream on the side was from a can which I don't mind bit when I'm paying more money for a cake in a small town I don't expect to pay more than the big chains... More

This restaurant has only a few dishes on the many which the owner will decide every day. Something we like a guest because it means it will be fresh and most of the time good! Well it was good! I had a nice burger with some home made fries which were really great. The dishes are more expensive then most... More

We were advised to arrive around 18.30 as the place is small and quickly fills up. There are only about 7 tables in this cool little bamboo restaurant with quirky french/thai decorations everywhere. The owner and chef is french and knows his business so we had two bottles of lovely french red and fresh pasta with truffles and beef tenderloin... More

This little place serves great food but is so crowded and busy that the environment detracts from the enjoyment of it. Get there early if you want a choice of icecream as advertised on the blackboard outside. Our choice always seemed to be sold out!

We entered the restaurant and waited patiently at thw reception. The waitress walked by us twice and didn't aknowledge us at all. No smile, no hello, no "just a minute please". Ok. We waited a bit more - she was in the kitchen chatting with her colleagues and having a snack. Still ignoring us. Really ?? Not going to pay... More

The previous reviewer is correct, this is definitely more of a hobby for the owner. He chooses what he makes each day and you choose. We had the lasagna which was pretty average. The tomatoes di bufala salad was really good though. We had ice cream for dessert which was pretty good and homemade. The service however was pretty bad.... More

Disappointed-- not great service, seems like this is more of a hobby of the owner than a business. Pasta was uninteresting--limp and greasy. Burger was very good as was cheese plate. No vegetarian options or fresh veggies of any kind--almost sneered at when this was requested. No crepes being made. Wine was choice of red or white--wife of owner wasn't... More

We visited Shanti Shanti for breakfast and were very happy with the food and service. Tasty filter coffee, scrummy crepes and fresh baked croissants. No complaints here. And the ginger and pineapple smoothie was great. Nice to see homemade speculoos icecream on the menu!

I had breakfast and dinner at shanti shanti and the food was great. It's good to go if you want a French inspired meal. The owner is French. The owner and the staff were very nice. This is a must when busting Ko Lanta.
