We had our first phad thai and crispy pork w/ vegetables here. Good food with low price. You can try going here if you're ever near longbeach.

We went in today (30th April 2014) after reading the Trip advisor reviews, wish we hadn't. We sat at table for 15 to 20 minutes without a single member of staff coming over to ask if we wanted a drink, offer a menu or even acknowledge that we were there. After 20 minutes we got up and went next door... More

We ordered papaya salad and said 5-6 chilis, one plate of yam seafood (seafood salad), and satay chicken. The papaya salad clearly had only one chili in it and you could not taste any spice at all. The yam seafood was basically just squid with 2 pieces of shrimp and again no chilis. After telling them that we didn't need... More

We ordered only 3 meal: grilled fish, steamed prawns and papaya salad. They brought grilled prawns and we asked to make steamed as in our order, then was fish... It was only fish on foil without any sous or herbal inside. Papaya salad wasn't awful but it wasn't tasty it was not interesting. And finally our prawn again - i... More

You just have to get over the waiting time. Go a hour or so before you want to eat (we were under an hour waiting) and have a beer or two whilst they're cooking. The food is worth the wait... Better than anything we found on the beach. Stir fry blue crab with curry powder - amazing. Prawn Penang -... More

We stay on Lanta every year for a couple of months and eat at Kritsana at least three times a week. The Thai food is truly the best quality and value for money on the island. At least 50% of the customers are regulars ( residents/long stays/ language schools/ dive school staff) who know their food and know that the waiting... More

Food here is great value for money and really tasty, but in the evenings you might have to wait for over an hour for your dish. For lunchtime it might be a better option; the service is slightly faster then. Try their green curry! <3

You might have to wait a while for your food, but thats not a bad thing as everything is made on the spot. Very atmospheric restaurant with fantastic local food.

Yes, the service is slow but the food is definitely worth the wait. Best Thai food we ate in Koh Lanta!

This place was recommended to me by a local and I was told to go early as it gets busy - the tourists soon noticed it was popular with locals and followed by example! The staff were friendly and food was delicious, best Masaman curry I have had, we even went back again the next night
