decent local food

we went there for a dinner. We had barracuda tempura, fish fillet in a lemon sauce, prawn salad and fried pineapple as a dessert. All dishes were good and not spicy (so if you wish them to be spicy, you need to inform them upfront). ambience was nice and service prompt and friendly. Good choice if... read more

We had tempura prawns, jack fish with curry and papaya salad - all were delicious as was the White wine. One of our favourite restaurants on lanta for sure

Disclaimer: we live in bangkok so might have higher expectations when it comes to thai food. We went there after reading the great reviews on TripAdvisor but was disappointed by the quality of food. We ordered chicken satay, fish steamed with thai chilli lime sauce, stir fried vegetable. Chicken satay was a little dry but taste was quite good. Fish... More

Lovely food, plenty of it and at a low price (half the price of our hotel and better food). It was busy so we shared our table with another couple. 5 minutes walk from the Twin Lotus where we were staying. Appeared to be a family business who were very attentive. They close at 10 so be aware. No views... More

This restaurant is amazing. The food is so fresh and delicious. It is small and family run, they cannot do enough to make your experience wonderful. We wished we had found this place sooner so we could have tried out a few more dishes, the fish is outstanding, fresh catch of the day. Do not miss out on this place,... More

Lovely fresh fish cooked to order. Despite being very busy the staff kept the tables very well serviced.

We drove past on our scooter and this charming restaurant caught our attention. We were lucky enough to find a table in this busy restaurant. The interior is beautiful and spacious. Our food was excellent-definitely one of the best meals I've had in Thailand. The service is super friendly and our waitress even gave us a mango to take home.... More

For people who eat spicy it can be a good place. I know that Thai food is supposed to be spicy but usually when I ask not to put pepper they do not. Here I have ordered a salad and have specifically ask not to put pepper because I am allergic and after I have tried it I thought I... More

We went there because of reviews from TApdvisor and also it was close to our hotel. Restaurant is located more in Kaw kwang than in Saladan. The interior was excellent and one of best that I saw in Thailand. Everything was done in good quality and had lot of space. Fans are everywhere so you can also relax if it... More

Our last night at Koh Lanta we decided to eat at Maladee after reading the reviews here on Tripadvisor. Such a shame we found this so late.
