Excellent seafood. Very tasty food and good service. Definitely worth the detour from the beach. It's popular so turn up early!

We are quite picky with food- this was by far one of the best Thai restaurants we tried in our two week trip in Thailand. The staff was so friendly, great service and the food was awesome. Try the chicken fried rice and you will not be disappointed. It's a bit hard to find - keep searching though - totally... More

We were a little bit late so we weren't able to order any desserts anymore but to be honest, I didn't find it necessary at all as the food was more than satisfying. The owner is an austrian lady and we had fun times chatting with her as fellow europeans. As my german is quite bad, we had to give... More

This restaurant is close to salamand, you need a bike or a taxi to arrive, for those staying in a resort in this area, it will be easier. The place is confortable, nice and spacious. You can choose "a la carte" or the owner will propose to choose fresh fishes or shrimps scampi or crabs on a plateau. Anyway the... More

Cozy decoration. Highly recommend special seafood and fish of the day. I had whole fish with southern style curry and grilled tiger prawn with tamarind sauce, it was superb!!! Mango smoothy and fried banana with vanilla ice cream are great. The owner, Pon and Barbara also their staffs are very friendly and perform an outstanding service.

We found ourselves dining at L. Maladee most nights over our 5 day stay in Koh Lanta, not because we are unadventurous, but because we know a good thing when we taste one. I was so glad to have done some research ahead of time so that we were able to try this place out on our first night. Very... More

don't get upset if your guests don't to want to share a table when you're busy. Thai owner got a bit aggressive and shouty when ourselves and the couple in front of us didn't want to share a table. Nice food and worth a visit but you can keep the attuitude thanks.

After reading the great reviews on TripAdvisor we had to try. My husband I ate here whilst staying in Koh Lanta for 5 nights and the food was delicious. We opted for a catch of the day and it was super fresh. They cook it how you like it. We chose the grouper steamed in garlic and lemon with some... More
