She explained what each one was and how best to have it cooked. An utterley divine meal was had by my wife and myself. 10 out of... More

The most wonderful, fresh, delicious food we had a Ko Lanta. Relaxed atmosphere but great professional service with a friendly informative host who was great for a chat.

Had noted the name from TA and don't regret the advice. (Was convenient too as close to our resort Crown Lanta) Tried the : Papaya salad, Glass noodle salad, Penang curry, Massaman curry, Parrot fish with garlic, giant prawns with fried potatoes (tired of rice :-)), various fruit shakes, Chang beer, and a great Irish coffee. Be assured we went... More

Went for the last night of the season, ordered the catch of the day jackfish with penang curry and had. My. Mind. Blown. Do yourself a favor: go there, eat the fresh catch, allow your life to be transformed.

Fantastic thai cuisine! From euro to thai style. Very friendly and fast staff! The combination of a thai cook and a european service ist really great.

We went to Maladee last night for it's closing night and boy are we glad we did. The owner was lovely and brought us the fresh catch of the day and we usually just like our fish plain BBQ however after reading the reviews we went for what she suggested and choose the parrot fish and jack fish, one prepared... We were sorry we hadn't tried this place earlier in our stay. we went past many times in a tuk tuk into town but it was within walking distance of the hotel. Lovely fresh fish, beautifully seasoned and served. the owners are Austrian and Thai and the combination is a winning one. The catch of the day is brought to... More

We chose a whole fish in lemon sauce one night, then a couple of thai curries the second night - spot on. They Austrian lady who served us was very friendly and helped us... More
