Love the bean bags and hammocks out the front of this little coffee shop. Gave the cafe a homey and and relaxed feel. The coffee is pretty good for Thailand and definitely the best coffee on Koh Lanta. Well worth a visit!

Some odd combinations on the specials board but oh boy they work. Really good cooks with a good selection of Thai and western food on the menu. Just watch the green curry, I thought my head was going to blow off when I ate this. Oh and enjoy the hammocks but don't my mistake and wear a dress when attempting... More

Stayed at The Houben and wanted something simple and indeed we found it at the Drunken Sailor. The restaurant is open with mismatched furniture that matches in the end somehow. Some chairs have backs, some don't, and there are even some hammocks if you want to eat and sway. The menu is full of local and a few western favorites.... More

If you have a motorbike, be certain to explore the sleepy Ba Kantiang community on Lanta. I loved the vibe and food at Drunken Sailors! They have plenty of vegetarian options and are willing to modify other items. Note, they cannot modify any curries though, as the paste is pre-made with shrimp. They are closed for a few hours in... The place is really nice, well decorated, with hammocks, bean bags or traditional tables and chairs. Good music. We've eaten there more than one during our short stay. The food is really good, western or thai, good value. It has a relaxing vibe.

Me and my fiancé were on a yoga teacher training course for 4 weeks and we spent a lot of time in the drunken sailor . All of the staff are great and everything we tried from the menu was very tasty. All of the Thai food was great , the burgers are the best in town and the sailor... More

For a small place with only a couple of staff this offers excellent food including sandwichs.Relax in the hammocks and let time drift by. Very popular in the evenings but does not stay open late.
